Nope. Unless of course, something big and bad happens, which IMHO is NOT the case. The last two rallies, have been overwhelmingly peaceful and trouble free. ANTIFA only really come out at night and in downtown. You should be fine.
IF that is true, and I do not think it is, then you can always get out a little further from the Capitol and walk up. DC is a pretty friendly place for pedestrians.

Yes, but in the past rallies they are snapped up pretty quickly from what I understand. But you can always go a stop or two on the Metro AWAY from the action and prolly find one there. I'm going to add an info link on that in my links now. Thanks!!!

I would park and ride the Metro in. Alot of street closures.
