It is retarded to claim that prisoners and criminals don't have morals. They may not have as many morals as you and me, or they may compromise their morals more often, or they may have made a mistake that landed them in prison, but to outright claim that they're amoral is bullshit. The entire point of prison, at least in theory, is to rehabilitate criminals and/or allow them penance for their crimes, so it's stupid to assume that all criminals will remain totally and completely amoral while in prison and either not be as complex as you and me or find some degree of redemption while locked up.
I always say nuclear is the future and gives both sides what they want. Tons of clean energy with very little downside (now that the tech has progressed to the level it is; IIRC, 99.9% of nuclear energy is clean). But "zomg nukes" even though modern plants are made to withstand damn near any natural disaster.
I think it's a mistake for Trump to remain in the GOP. You cannot change the GOP into the party we want it to be. The entire party has become a cancerous tumor, and the only thing we can do is excise it from us.
Look at the battles Trump fought because he failed to expel every holdover from previous administrations from his own. That's the sort of push-back we'd be dealing with forever if we continue to consider the GOP our "rightful" party.
The reality is that we're never going to win another election anyway so long as Dominion and the commies are in charge, and the GOP, despite its massive weight of funding and power, is definitively not on our side.
There's nothing to lose from starting an entirely new party from the ground up. The movement itself, growing as rapidly as I expect it would, would do wonders at giving us some necessary and needed political capital, ideally in the hands of those who would use it, like Trump.
Imagine being part of a party that's fully in-line together with its shared values, where the head of the party pushes forward and fights for those values? Sorry fellas, but we'll never get that with the GOP. With a third party, we just might.
I think the only reason it worked in 2016 was because they had no expectations Trump would absolutely dominate compared to their anointed candidate. 2018 then became the trial run to ensure there'd never be another Trump, and 2020 instituted what they learned (though haphazardly because, again, Trump was blowing away the commies' expectations).
