An assistant principal at a high school in a suburb of Rochester, New York, has been placed on leave following outrage in the community over the administrator live-streaming himself cursing out the police while attending a Black Lives Matter protest in the city.
In the nearly 50-second stream, school administrator Steve Lysenko yells about what a “sty a job” the Rochester Police Department (RPD) are allegedly doing, adding, “f** the police,” and noting that the RPD “can f*** right off, America!”
According to 13 WHAM, parents and members of the Spencerport community expressed outrage over the expletive-laced anti-cop rant from the administrator. As of Tuesday morning, an online petition has garnered more than 5,500 signatures calling for Lysenko’s firing.
A statement released by the district this week said Lysenko, “a tenured administrator with due process rights,” will be placed on leave pending an investigation.

“I’m still excited,” said Yaakov Billig, an archaeologist with the City of David who began exploring the Armon Hanatziv area about 30 years ago. He was working at the site when the sound of a spade scraping a stone slab surprised him. After a careful excavation, archaeologists at the site uncovered the capital, whose style is found in royal and official buildings in the kingdoms of Israel and Judea during the First Temple period. “I thought, ‘Yaakov, maybe you’ve been in the sun too long.’ But I looked again, and it was still there,” Billig told The Jerusalem Post.
President Donald Trump on Thursday night personally denounced a story published by The Atlantic, which cited anonymous sources that claim Trump described America’s fallen heroes as “suckers” and “losers.”
“To think that I would make statements negative to our military and our fallen heroes … it is a disgraceful situation by a magazine that’s a terrible magazine,” Donald Trump said. “I don’t read it, but I just heard about it.”
Trump spoke after he landed at Andrews Air Force Base after returning late from a campaign rally at an airport in Wisconsin.
“It’s a total lie; it’s fake news. It’s a disgrace, and frankly its a disgrace to your profession,” he said to reporters who did not expect him to speak after exiting Air Force One. Video footage of his remarks featured the president denouncing the story in the dark.
