Because CPAC is compromised. The left infiltrates institutions and mediums that already have a wide audience and corrupts them. The left’s ideology doesn’t spread organically so they inject it into cultural vectors that already have the following and then change them gradually. Hollywood, professional sports, Netflix (Susan Rice joined their board in 2018), Fox News (Paul Ryan joined the board of Foxcorp in 2017), social media... like a cancer.
Trump ran as a Republican. Marjorie Taylor-Greene ran as a Republican. Lauren Boebert ran as a Republican.
MAGA people can and do win Republican seats. We need more of them, not less. If we win enough Republican seats, we become the Republican party.
Why do you keep saying some RINO would take his place? See here. In an odd-numbered year, a vacant Senate seat is filled via special election, and the minimum number of signatures to appear on the ballot is 5000. 5000! That's it. That's a fairly low threshold for a MAGA candidate to make in a red state. Even if we entertain the idea that Cruz were allowed to serve out the remainder of his term, the possibility for a RINO or Democrat to take the seat after doesn't go away, so that's kind of moot.
Plan on CPAC not being "100% loaded with Team Trump America First patriots". The attendees might be, but almost certainly not the organizers. CPAC has become less and less rightwing, inviting the likes of Van Jones and kicking out Owen Shroyer.
How clown world becomes reality:
-
Liberal media or personality creates a new narrative by rebranding a concept or event using a ridiculous, absurd word or association. (Examples include Omar’s “Some people did something”, WaPo’s “austere religious scholar”, Trump’s “very stable genius”, Time’s “election fortifying”)
-
Conservatives endlessly repeat the new rebranding because they’re struck by the inanity, or because they amuse themselves with sarcasm.
-
New, rebranded word is more proliferated than old word and occupies our culture and collective awareness.
-
Old narrative gradually dies out.
Words matter. Write and speak accordingly
No. Stop repeating the left’s ridiculous and disgusting rhetoric.
