Well no, my intent is just personal but its mostly to see how they manipulate language to fit their agenda. Ownership of means of production is the most key aspect of socialism and creates its failures. Like hitler wanting to take industry from the jews was socialist. China owning industry to a large extent is why their citizens make 8k a year. Government owning industry creates the failure, its also socialisms main appeal, its how they garner support. Other aspects like social services or government handled utilities are an integral part of any form of government, theyre not socialist because they say so.
But yes that we have to somewhat try to go by the standard usage but its still good to know why effort was made to make it the standard usage.

In the US we can see things like USPS getting destroyed by fedex, public schools weak vs private, public work projects losing, obamacare etc. From what I look at theae are the things that destroy socialist economies and its the common denominator. So to me, thats what socialism is despite things they add

True inflation is less than double, artificial inflation is actually falling in line with that as our currency gains value. It depends what youre calling socialism. Of youre saying prehistoric tribal communities that were social structures, sure. If youre talking any type of modern socialism that requires government enforcement then no. And thats part of the liguistics deal, anarchism simply means zero rulers. Anarchism and socialism have the same desired outcome but implementation is entirely different. If they want to say they ascribe to a social structure like a tribal body thats one thing, but if thats socialism then nothing today called socialism is. And theres also modern usage and if that usage is beyond the generational boundaries, our entire generation has accepted that socialism is government powered, so I don't agree there. Id say that tribal social systems werent socialist, they were anarchist. In the tribe everyone is equal to an extent due to relation, in true socialism there is governmental force which is the master, and you cannot have masters and say youre anarchist

I didnt say I made 750 at mcdonalds, I made like 340 take home for 2 weeks at $4.50 an hour. I made 160 a week as a carpenter. In 20 years its gone up like shit, 5 times take home. Its Ca. Mcdonalds here now pays like 17/hr or so

I just got a kid a job for me. Carpenter. Starts at $30/hr before benefits, healthcare day 1. When I started I worked at mcdonalds before, I brought home like $10 more a week at mcdonalds than I did as a carpenter apprentice. By my tthird year I made 100k but that first year I didnt make shit. Asked the kud what his take home was, it was like 750 a week, hes 19
