In my experience they just default to "he said Mexicans are rapist," to which I dare them to actually see for themselves. A week later they say the same thing because they admittedly did not bother to look further. It's not a matter of honest discussion.

For many, admitting that Trump is basically a moderate, not Hitler is too much of a threat to their world view. They feel absolutely no duty to engage in a rational fashion, preferring emotional appeals and sensational accusations.

What is this vehicle? What is the purpose of the things on the hood and roof?

Exactly. The left never stands up for anyone and has no principles, they will say whatever is advantageous at the time. Yet they feel entitled to support from the very conservatives and libertarians they deride.

Their ultimate goal is to have a national police force which they control, so this on it's face is completely disingenuous. Defund the police is a subterfuge to disband local police sympathetic to their citizens, not policing all together.

I've been there recently too, dude. I feel for you.

I left her though, because conflict seemed imminent when the BLM riots came.

It's better they don't know this, let them think it will be a landslide. I'm a registered independent, but I'm voting Trump.

Agreed. In 2016 they did not employ the nefarious methods they will this time around. 2020 is all or nothing for them, the stakes could not be higher.

EXACTLY. They will be 'just doing their job' as they obediently follow orders. Just like all those Nazis and communist who obediently followed their orders. The military will act in the same manner.

2 months ago those same cops were mindlessly hassling and ticketing Americans for minor violations of the lockdown orders.

There is no way to reconcile endorsing BLM riots, while denouncing 4th of July gatherings. They are reveling in our submission.

No need to dox. If you google images "USPSA areas", or something along those lines, you will find a regional Area map. It may also be in the rulebook.

I'm sad to hear that production is dying, as it was once very close to my heart. I figured all the old guys with bad eyes would leave for CO.

If I shoot USPSA again, I would go PCC. PCC is really really tempting. CO is cool too. I've never been a fan of Lim and Open because I didn't want to reload .40 and .38super. I've seen too many guys fighting with overly-tuned guns, the reliability cost them time and placings. As a matter of personal opinion, those guns aren't practical in defensive situations. But if that's your cup of tea, I can definitely respect it. I would love to shoot a match with a proper open or limited setup.

I loved 2013-2017 era production because you could be competitive with virtually any full-size duty 9mm. However, the armsrace of steel DA/SA would soon grip the ranks. The strategic reloads were also compelling.

Me and 4-8 guys from my University would shoot production with stock glock 17 and 34s. Mainly because of the cost and because most of us were self defense oriented. Lim would have been more realistic, but the 9mm scoring made it competitively impractical. I miss those days, it was one of the happiest periods of my life. My well-worn competition g34 sits on my nightstand with a surefire x300.

When I moved for law school, there was little USPSA going on in the immediate area. I hadn't considered the effects of winter, as I was accustomed to shooting throughout the year in my home state. I missed my brief window of the 2017 shooting season and basically drifted away. The continued perversion in production rules and organizational drama furthered my disinterest.

I'm a millennial, btw, I'm probably coming off like an indignant old man typing up a manifesto lol

That JP should be a slick shooter, I've handled but never fired one. I'm certain you'll be really happy. Remember to keep a cool head when shooting and don't get tunnel vision! The level of proficiency you will soon reach will blow your mind. Dry-firing will become an invaluable tool.

Best of luck!

Looking at his tweets, I've never seen a more cringey use of "y'all," I notice a lot of these leftist saying "y'all" like they are hood or something? Because they aren't southern boys. I grew up in the Midwest and New England, never heard a white person say y'all.

Was that a big area match? I was active from 2014-2017, back then Limited, Production were very stacked divisions in Area 6. CO was pretty new so at the time it wasn't as hard to place well, so a lot of guys were jumping over from production.

But I've heard the opposite is true now, production is dying and CO is taking over. 4th place in a division is very respectable, so congratulations on your placing! 17th is also impressive now that PCC is common and I'm sure Open trails behind them in the overall.

Like I said, people underestimate the skills you develop from USPSA, that's why I got into it. I saw how good low-B shooters were compared to the SWAT guys.

JPS makes some sweet PCCs I'm sure you'll love it.

That's a good point, I would expect that would be the case in the corporate world. But these activist non-profits probably don't care.

For the most part, I pretty much expect to get killed in that situation. I'd probably grab my AR and attempt to defend from a choke point. If I'm outdoors I'm likely to be pelted with hard objects and even explosives. If I retreat inside they could just light the house on fire, then I'm fucked.

So basically make a futile last stand.
