We need to stop just pointing out the hypocrisy. I'm pretty sure everybody on this site knows they're all hypocrites. What we need to do is start organizing on local levels to actually get our people in office to counter these people.
Desantis didn't. Jeb Bush was governor when that happened. I was in high school at the time, but my understanding was after the hanging Chad election, Florida revamped its whole system to be uniform across the state to ensure that didn't happen again.
My question then is, how are they testing for something that doesn't exist? Are the tests just looking for rna from other sars virus'? Because if thats what its doing, that explains why having a common cold can give a "false positive".

I honestly don't agree with you about individualism not being hand in hand with the family dynamic.
I believe that by bettering myself, by a rising tide raising all ships, I'm bettering my family. When my children seeing me work to better myself, they see an example of hard work paying off, or perseverance if it doesn't. Then when the success comes, they see what went into it. It all goes back to taking responsibility for your actions and where you are in life.
I don't see anybody saying theres nobody in the hospital. I see people debunking the stories saying hospitals are at 90% capacity with no room. They're not.
And the fact that false positives and antibodies tests can give false information because there are a myriad of corona viruses that cause the common cold is even more alarming.
That's why people are calling it a hoax. Not because it doesn't exist. Because its way overblown.
Thats cause the further south you go, the more Cuban the community becomes. Cubans understand communism better than just about any community in the country.
