I don’t know, modern cheerleading looks pretty tough actually. And they do have competitions, so I don’t see why we can’t label that as a sport. I mean throwing someone 15 feet into the air and catching them is more athletic than a rhythmic gymnast who tosses a ball up in the air or twirls ribbons.
