Came out a long time ago, a black Brazilian immigrant who was a Capitol policeman. Rock solid dveidence from the white bracelet present in his FB posts, aldo a BLM supporter. It was on the Donald.win but was scrubbed. I thought I had a screen shot but I have had several memes and photos mysteriously disappear from my phone.
Barack the Magic Negro came directly from a black journalist who referred to Barack as such dirimgvhis first presidential campaign. in a headline. You can Google it . Rush took it and made the parody song with Al Sharpton's voice. I've been around, and been around a fait amount of theater and film. I've never heard this term used
I think this is her too
I was deployed to Kenya/Somalia when Clinton took office, there was a lot of upset folks but these guys were all Nam and even some Korea era hard chargers. There was a general acceptance of civilian leadership that could put you in danger but generally was incapable of destroying the military or the country. If you want to be active duty you live with it and accentuate the positive, or you get out. Either is acceptable I believe, even if Biden manages to take the reigns of armed forces. You do your duty, you get the benefits, you did your part.
He's right. For decades the Confederates were rightfully considered traitors who killed US troops and tore the country apart. The "heritage" was only revitalized in direct and well recorded opposition to blacks trying to exercise their rights in the South. Voter suppression and references to maintaining white supremacy are literally part of the public record during these times.
Its important to remember the USMC, "The President's Own." They guard POTUS, all the US embassies and nukes in the world. Theoretically the president could maintain diplomatic relations and nuclear capabilities even under a military coup. As a former Marine I am confident they will not fail in this mission.
