Everyone saying secession shouldn’t be on the table whatsoever... are you really going to say that IF this fraud of a “president” is ushered in by the swamp? Trump has awoken the deplorables and those who put America First. If he couldn’t drain the swamp, what makes us think we will be able to without any representation in DC? Even when we have representation, most of them are establishment RINO swamp creatures..... We need to preserve our values and culture. Maybe a new union is necessary.
I completely agree, this has bothered me at times as someone with deep southern roots, but the truth remains. This wouldn’t be a “taboo” belief, even among conservatives as it is, if the focus was on the sovereignty of the states rather than on slavery. Slavery was a a driving force, BUT the rest of the west ended slavery (at least in this form) without killing 600+ thousand people and burning half their countryside. Slavery was on its way out.
I struggle with this. I don’t want to give them a damn inch. Problem is they have had about a 60 year head start and while we all know Trump won, and won big, there were still tens of millions of “American” sheeple who voted for a compromised pedo.
A big part of me wants to preserve what we have, we can absolutely work on liberating our fellow patriots while doing so.
