It’s really not that bad. Boring af, but not exactly life threatening. More idiots will die here from CO poisoning than hypothermia. I think that’s mainly because we have no regional knowledge of what to do in the cold. Still, as a houstonian, hurricanes are generally worse.

Good idea. Ever try buy a toaster, not from china, for under $250? It is currently impossible.

Problem with this is when you live in a red state and red county like I do, the republican primary is basically your only vote that matters.

I mean... It's the US chamber of commerce. They have been a DEM organization for a while.

since 2015 on T_D. Was a Rand Paul guy during the primaries.

I was fed up with reddit and their censorship of conservatives , migrated over to Voat for a while but eventually realized that site is just a bunch of racist assholes. Not a good look for sure. Found T_D, went back to reddit, and then eventually here full time. MAGA!

TX early voted in Montgomery county, a republican stronghold. Lines were around the building, around 30 min wait 3 weeks ago. Didn't want to risk waiting till election day.

I would bring proof of address like some mail, your passport, and your voter card. I’m not sure what your ID requirements are in your state but I’m sure your passport will work.
