Q was way less known early on. Once it started to catch on and the media started linking in white supremacist groups with "Q anon" as they call it, then he stopped with the more obvious hints. There are so many proofs and timestamps that align perfectly, it would be quite difficult for any of this to be a coincidence.

That's quite the leap. There were likely instigators as there were in all of the summer riots. We have already seen a few of them charged (john sullivan). It only takes a few of the instigators and a bunch of bystanders around them to make the event appear to be a huge mob. Then the media can project whatever narrative they want.
