What is this ‘progressive turnout project’ that has ads all over this article? I get that they are generic google ads, but it goes to a jobs site where you can get a 2500/month entry level job to go harvest dem votes.
Does this happen every election cycle? Who pays these people? Do the republicans also have paid turnout teams?
I’ve noticed at my church that we’ve grown more appreciative of what we have. People are going out of their way to call and mail one another. Most of my friends have upped their prayer and devotional reading. We have our services streaming over the internet and they are reaching people all over the world. I’m really looking forward to seeing them again, it will be an amazing Sunday.
If the people in power intended to suppress the church, they had the opposite effect. Just like every other time in history when things like this have happened.

Every refresh of the new page is dominated by porn, gay hookups and online soft prostitution, the content that gets upvoted the most is naturally the type of news that supports the idea that all of this behavior is good. The raunchy environment has pushed me out, it would be nice to have a site to post recipes and fun facts and interesting perspectives on life though, 10 years ago it was a fountain of originality and interesting things, now it’s just a dirty orgy.
I get that a lot of us in here are playing the same game. I feel we should try not to let the hypocrisy of our opponents infect us. Memes are a lot of fun but the truthful ones are a lot more fun than the hate the stereotypes kind.
The Karen meme and the general reddit tumblr Facebook commentary environment betray the true intentions of the social justice crowd. They use morality as a cudgel to beat down their opponents rather then to genuinely reduce hatred. They are Pharisees about morality, wearing it like a suit rather than respecting the spirit of their own movement, that is, to reduce unwarranted hatred. On almost every public comment section these days the most popular game is to invent new categories of person and run a hate wagon on them. Karen, starter packs, malicious compliance, pro revenge and it goes on and on. Just because the law hasn’t caught up to your hatred and created protected classes for it yet doesn’t mean that your aren’t being bigots too. The current commentary environment proves that the social justice crowd is full of shit.
I quit gaming about 5 years ago and my life dramatically improved. I got a job, a girlfriend, joined a church, bought a house and transitioned from depressed faggot to independent man, I feel much better without video games.
Games in themselves aren't bad things but if your life is not going well then you may want to reconsider how you spend your time. I know I had a gaming problem and aside from the odd mariokart at a friends house I keep away from them to avoid slipping back into bad habits.
I wouldn't go as far as calling it a mental health condition. The condition I had was poor discipline and it which was a moral failing, not a medical one.
My guess is they turned it off as a sort of atlas shrugged style stunt. I expect they'll point to all the recently exposed material and use it to make the argument that censorship is necessary.
That or this is just them a/b testing a new change to the algorithm. Perhaps they've identified you as the sort of person that wants to see this type of stuff and are no longer hiding it from you, but it might remain shadow banned to the rest of the public. The other possibility is that this is the unfiltered version and they've put the opposite side in a filter bubble instead, its hard to tell how many bubbles there are and who is trapped in which.
I do get worried about the unforeseen consequences of being marked as a right-winger by the big algorithm. I have fairly mainstream conservative christian views. I don't hate the jews or want the US to be a white ethnostate and I don't enjoy being lumped into those groups. I try to hide the scent by staying away from certain topics on youtube and searches but we can only do so much. Its scary though, lenders, insurance job applications, there's no telling how they use our data and where htey source it from because so much is moving around. I often wonder how my info is being used against me.
There ought to be some sort of public response to what reddit is doing. Reddit is a huge public site and there are shenanigans going on during an election. is the Trump campaign aware of what's happening? Has there been any response?
'Temporary Autonomous Zone' is a popular anarchist book from the 1990's. It was heavily cited by the raver subculture in the states around that time. The hyperreal email distributions archived much of those discussions. The author is also an advocate for pedophilia.

I only post this stuff to say that this whole idea of an autonomous zone is nothing new. This stunt and this language are clearly anarchist in nature. One thing I find interesting in the book is the complete 180 that the modern left has made on censorship and being offended when compared to the stance they took at the beginning of this old version of their manifesto.
The author also appears to have coined the term 'no go zone' in another book of his. Getting familiar with these books might be useful to the conservative movement, he appears to be an influence on the modern radical left.
