Part of investments need to be inflation-protected (based on a commodity that is mined; if inflation goes up, the price of that commodity will go up because everyone needs it, ie. if the gasoline price doubles, we will still buy gasoline but we will not buy a new car.).

Real estate is not a true inflation-protected investment. Inflation causes real estate value to increase; higher interest rates cause the value of real estate to decrease.

I would add:

1. Be very careful about whom you marry. Get to really know them. Marry someone who is Godly, moral, ethical, calm, responsible, frugal, educated, humble, an independent-thinker, and above all, someone who shares your same values and interests.
2. Graduate, earn money, get married, have children... IN THAT ORDER.
3. Believe in God. Read and know your Bible. King Nebuchadnezzar conceded, "...those who walk in pride the LORD is able to humble." ~Daniel 4:37 Acknowledge that you have a creator and that the created is never greater than the creator, "Woe to him who strives with him who formed him, a pot among earthen pots!"~Isaiah 45:9

I live in S. Texas. The region of Texas I live in, sadly, is blue, not purple, blue.

The only region in Texas I sense is still deep red, is E. Texas. While driving through E. Texas for 10 glorious days in November, I saw TRUMP vendors with their pop-up tents, huge TRUMP signs on the gates of ranches and farms, small TRUMP signs in front yards and TRUMP flags everywhere! E. Texas is amazing and I feel much more at home there than I do in San Antonio where blue Biden signs littered the city before the election. We were very concerned about flying our TRUMP flag at our house during November due to hostility and veiled threats; we flew it anyway but San Antonio, and any city in the south or on IH35, is purple or blue.

Do not forget that the first school in the USA to mention allowing boys in the girls' bathroom was in Fort Worth. Also, there are Marxist clubs in high schools in Grapevine.

Yes, I have those pictures. Paper aisle was 100% empty. I picked up the last two small cans of tomato paste (I needed two for my spaghetti sauce). The canned food aisle was about 80% empty.

Not to my knowledge. Even the senior centers, that distribute food to seniors every Monday and Thursday, were closed. I do not know how these elderly citizens, who depend on these meals, got any food this week. The roads were covered in ice. There was no obvious federal response.
