Social media is like an abusive relationship. I had a Facebook account for over ten years, so when I decided I wanted to delete it it took me two years to actually work up the courage to do so. I'd spent so long on it, and had so many memories with it, that I ignored the toxicity of it for that long before I took the plunge.

And after it was gone, I've never once missed it. Same thing happened with Reddit and many others. Delete your accounts, people, you will not miss it even for a second, but they desperately make you think you will while you're on it.

I lost almost AUD$3500 on Bet365. These betting sites are a fucking joke.

At about 2pm (Australian time) on election day they were paying out my Trump bets almost double, that's how obvious it was that Trump was winning. By 3pm that same day those bets were worthless, because the cheat was in.

I emailed saying it was bullshit that they called it when it's obviously disputed and they pretty much told me to fuck off.

Exactly! If you get kicked off a partisan shithole of a site because the President of the United fucking States cites you in an election fraud battle, then I'd wear that badge with pride.

I emailed them and they explained that they go off "official sources" and not legal proceedings (which sounds bullshit to me).

They invited me to reopen the discussion once the whole affair is over though, and I fully intend to do so, especially if these "official sources" finally declare fraud to have taken place. I'm gonna raise hell.

To address a few points.

The site was Bet365.

I read through their terms and conditions and couldn't find anything stating I wasn't able to contest results, in fact there is a particular way I'm legally allowed to go about it should it come to that. The only clause I found even slightly relevant was that they reserve the right not to pay out if the integrity of the event is called into question, which it has. . . against the other guy.

So I've contacted them asking what will happen should Trump be declared winner, citing the 2000 election as precedent. I'm awaiting a response now. Wish me luck, pedes!
