The only reason the campaign of harassment against the GOP didn't hurt Democrats is because Democrats were not directly connected to it, and the media didn't cover it. Harassment, like what was done to Romney, is not a good way to get support even though it was kind of friendly in that case.
Mods should delete these types of posts. Cops didn't open fire on patriots, a woman was shot and an investigation will uncover what happened. As far as cops kneeling, it depends on which city and who is in charge and what the circumstances are. No cop in my city would bow to the guy who kidnapped those children and threatened the cops with a knife, which is why they dropped charges against the cop and literally every cop I talked to said even charging him was an injustice

This post is not true. The footage shows police restraining people who are coming at them, mostly antifa actually. They don't care whether it's a Trump voter or not, they are there to protect innocent people from violence.

He seems like an impressive person and a nice guy but he doesn't have a good read on the public and it might be that's he too ideological, or too connected with certain lobbyists. If he knows he will get primaried, he should put out a better statement than I did what's in my heart and what's in the constitution. Maybe explain why no other senator voted to impeach except him... whether he's right or wrong, it deserves a better public statement or he's gone probably

"Troll" means that the person doesn't agree with you and doesn't have the patience to figure out what they are even discussing. It's worse on reddit and I've stopped going to some liberal sites because they are just as bad. I would say 95% of the time a person accuses you of being a troll, they are the one making less intelligent points, and they usually have tons of spam posts

None of Trump's attack are in bad faith and politicians know it is part of the job. The only time it went kind of far was when he roasted Hillary at that Al Smith dinner.
The obsessive anarchists who hate all political parties and institutions are actually fascists because they want total control and think that the corporations will give it to them once they destroy society. I have mostly Democrat friends and they are more against anarchism then a lot of Republicans who call themselves libertarians. Both sides see the corporate takeover as a divide and conquer campaign to destroy institutions using gay and minority propaganda as cover. The only people who buy it are fairly well-off 9-5 types who never looked into it and don't have the knowledge to back up the obvious claims, so they cow to the anarchists and their corporate directors.
Maybe all people are so identity-obsessed that they don't trust anyone who doesn't look like them. I've only seen it targeted at blacks. If it works to get different groups vaccinated safely and effectively, then I don't mind the strategy, but it seems so demeaning that it might backfire
To be fair to your family, there are pro-Trump people who are just as biased. The common problem is not admitting that these questions are complex policy issues that can't be solved by meaningless opinions. Society tells us since we are five that democracy means picking sides so it becomes an identity and it is hard to let go when we have nothing else to give us meaning.
If it's as bad as he said it was then it would take two plus years to piece it all together and build criminal cases. Even Democrats expect there to be charges brought and they can't decide whether to admit what happened and distance themselves, or embrace it as their own and attack the "out of control" AG who is targeting political enemies on behalf of the president.
When the alternative media runs a story that is incorrect and easy to disprove like Trump's lawyers were fired, then it is important to correct the story. If people think the election is over because they aren't told how lawsuits work then that is bad for them and society. The stories about not having evidence is because lawyers are not allowed to subpoena evidence before judges grant that right, so rather than dismiss concerns as wasting time, it seems smarter to answer the concerns even if we have to look up the answers.
There are checks and balances built into the system unless there is evidence of fraud at all levels. Absent of fraud, it would not be a problem because the other branches would stop any president who is out of control

He said NOT TROLLING "Chicago's Graffiti movement and Gang culture," which is not a bad answer but those are not accomplishments! For one, they are both illegal... Not a good example for children. Parents do not want their kids getting into that. That is why poor families save up to try to leave those neighborhoods, and now the one place they thought they could send their kids is glorifying it. How about real things like beautiful art!
