I think plan C is Trump's, he's moving the pieces into place, and it may happen before plans A or B. I've seen a lot of larpy posts lately that go into more detail, but I think those details ring true because we all know what has to happen. The larpers aren't telling us anything we don't already know.
I'm not sure replacing Barr counts since his deputy is another swamp creature. Barr could simply have resigned on his own, since one way or another he knew his tenure at DOJ was over.

I don't think military action and some amount of martial law are out of the question. I think Trump has plans in his back pocket. If it comes down to that, he's going to declassify everything, seize control of broadcasts, and blanket the airwaves with the truth, while doing mass arrests at the same time.
But, Trump does not like using force when he can use any other means and he's going to hold this back as long as possible. I do think he's planning to declassify some things well in advance of any possible action in order to undercut the coup, because he burns his enemies hard when they walk away from the table.
Lack of trust is how commies operate. This is how totalitarians stay in control, by having a network of snitches who will turn in their neighbors for any perceived offense against the state. Since no one knows which of their neighbors or coworkers are snitches, it only takes a few to keep a lot of people in line.
