I think he was 18 when they elected him the first time. This is why you shouldn't let college students vote in local elections.
The wealthy residents of Ithaca are lucky to live up the hill far above the crime.
The head of Ithaca's downtown business development once said he loved that baristas in Ithaca probably had doctorates. I'd trigger everyone by saying I wished there were better jobs in Ithaca for people with doctoral degrees.
Did you ever see Lois Lerner try and enter her neighbors house to escape a reporter?
There was a "riot" at the Kansas state capital on the same day. Posters here have been using a video from Kansas and playing it off as from DC for weeks.
Anyway, the Daily Fodder excerpt of the BI article leaves out a lot. The BI article is full of inflammatory bullshit, but includes important details.
Latches, No Standing, Moot!
Depends on who is doing the "deleting".
If it's YouTube deleting the comments of their own accord, no. Private companies can do whatever they want except refuse to bake a cake.
If it's a gov't official/worker telling YouTube to delete the comments, then yes. From what I read of the Twitter cases, those comments could be considered protected speech.
Trump can't block Twitter users over their political views, NY federal judge says
I'd guess that a gov't official/worker is clicking a "disable comments" button after submitting the video and the comments "disappeared". They'll then claim that they weren't deleted or blocked because reasons.
If a case were to go to court, the mental gymnastics the court and gov't would have to go through would be worthy of gold medals.
Till then I'd suggest archiving as much of the comments as you can. Set up a site like MostDamagingWikiLeaks and wait for the buyout offers or death threats.
Report: Obama Administration Handed Child Migrants Over to Human Traffickers
As detention centers became incapable of housing the massive influx of migrants, the Department of Health and Human Services started placing children into the care of sponsors who would oversee the minors until their bids for refugee status could be reviewed. But in many cases, officials failed to confirm whether the adults volunteering for this task were actually relatives or good Samaritans — and not unscrupulous egg farmers or child molesters. The department performed check-in visits at caretakers’ homes in only 5 percent of cases between 2013 and 2015, according to the report.
This article sucks or I lack reading comprehension. Was this case about the Kansas state capital or the US capital. I'm guessing Kansas.
I'd also like to know who the defendant is. Was it one of the two we've got on camera dressed in black and smashing doors/windows while the rest of the group tries to stop them?
Just read the BI article instead. It's bullshit, but at least provides more details.
This defendant glows for sure.
Despite the nonstop fake news narrative that the Capitol Riot was Trump's fault, a judge just gave it to an insurrectionist who tried to scapegoat his actions on Trump. The lawsuit, which took place in Kansas, alleged that the plaintiff was simply doing Trump's bidding when he stormed the Capitol. According to Business Insider, the man was charged with multiple counts which included "conspiracy to civil disorder, threatening to assault federal law enforcement, and entering a restricted area with a weapon." Here's an archive of the BI article this is based on.
Back in the day we called this social engineering.
