It’s been obvious that this was their gameplan even as far back as Gamergate, when they were testing censorship and “cancel culture” to silence online dissent against media outlets. They have been incrementally expanding ever since.
People are mad and just venting, but if you guys have to make a call my vote is to ban calls for violence - that's how it was on the old sub, not because that's what everyone wanted or because the admins forced us, but because that's what most closely matched what Trump is about.
Not to sound like a doom-fag but I think they invoked the 25th and cut off his twitter access so the public won’t find out and cause a riot. That would also explain why Pence was able to authorize the National Guard/ Military to move in.
I think you might be right - the VP can’t supercede the authority of the CoC/President, so I don’t think he could have summoned the National Guard unless the 25th was invoked. If that’s the case they wouldn’t want the public to know lest they trigger a riot, especially after what happened today.
I hope we’re wrong but my gut says it’s the most likely explanation for all this.
He’s a good speaker and debates well when the topic is confined to the narrow range of topics he is well versed in. But outside of that he’s clueless and out of touch with what every day conservatives are actually concerned with.
