Some people legit don't know any better unless they've already been following Gamergate. That's part of what makes it so difficult to educate normies about what is going on - most of the resources they use to inform themselves (MSM, wikipedia, google, etc.) are now completely compromised and under CCP-style censorship rules.
That's exactly it - the whole purpose of identity politics is to shut down critical thought by appealing directly to emotion. When it is successful there's literally no boundaries on what people can do so long as they can claim they are part of some oppressed minority. Ergo, "fucking members of the media in exchange for positive coverage is perfectly fine, and people who say otherwise are bigots or sexist" - that's the media's take on Gamergate in a nutshell.
It really did a great job revealing the lengths that people in power will go to deflect blame. Like dealing with a narcissist in a relationship, but on a much bigger societal scale. Every technique you see in typical abusive relationships (gaslighting, projecting, reversing victim/abuser roles) is utilized by the media/political establishment writ large whenever its power is being threatened.
Well at least he supports SCOTUS hearing the case, even if he doesn't agree with Texas' proposed remedy. I'm down for whatever, as long as the SCOTUS comes up with a remedy that doesn't allow the bureaucratic fuckery of a couple of states to effectively overthrow an entire national election - that's what we're all really after here.
So from the roof of the WH then!
