Could it be that the empire of japan was poised to invade Australia after already invading Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaya at the same time as attacking Pearl Harbor.

The nazis and the communists had a non aggression pact the allowed the partition of Poland . The same non aggression pact allowed the communists to move into Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. You said that basically President F Roosevelt fooled the American people to enter WW2 by using Pearl Harbor as an excuse. Using your logic why didn't President F Roosevelt use some other " excuse to fool The United States of America to enter the war in September 1939. Seems if President F Roosevelt really wanted to go to war to spread emperirlisism he wouldn't wait until December of 1941.
