How about "I passed on hiring a well qualified Jewish person in order to hire a lesser qualified person of color in order to make my department more racially diverse. Am I able to use that as a legitimate argument/excuse for why my departmental productivity has declined?"
The virus is real, but the hype is the scam. I've noticed that as we get closer to the election the hysteria has ratcheted up volumes about "cases" going up and deaths increasing (I have yet to have anyone tell me how death counts could decrease). Anyone with half a brain knows this is all about the election since we have never seen anything like this hysteria during previous "pandemics", even Ebola. I think that predicting the hysteria goes away after the election is spot on.
I seem to remember the governor of Texas running ads in California a few years back inviting California businesses and California residents to move to Texas for a better life! That may have turned out to be a huge mistake.
Democrats destroy everything they touch. They badgered the Boy Scouts into accepting gay scout leaders - what could possibly have gone wrong? Then they badgered the Boy Scouts into accepting girls, even though girls had their own organization! The death of this once great organization (I know because I was a scout) didn't have to happen. Wokeness doesn't create or build anything, it only tears down.
I've made this comment before but I think it's worth repeating: When confronted with "whataboutism " I just reply that "whataboutism" isn't an actual word, and that the word they are searching for is precedent. Their side has set a precedent.
How do you "distrust" lives? What are "idiocracy statements"? "Counteract" should be contradict. What is a "power dictatorship"? How do you call a system "losers and suckers"? How do you lose a "bandwagoning"? "Full fledge" should be full fledged. Who wrote this, a 6 year old? Did she even go to school?
I live in a mandatory mask state and I don't wear them. Our local police chief and county sheriff have both said they will not respond to 911 calls about people not wearing masks, they have more important things to handle. So I have little to worry about in the way of fines. I have had 2 store employees so far say something to me about not wearing a mask and I just say to them "I know you have to tell me that" and then just keep on with my business. So far no one has asked me to mask up or leave the store, but if they did I would put the mask on. I look at it as the same as the "No shirt, no shoes, no service" signs - it's their store and have that right to require it. As far as the effectiveness of masks, I say bullshit. Many of the masks sold have disclaimers on the packaging that says they are not effective in preventing the spread of covid19, so the manufacturers know they are useless. They are just symbolic. I'm old enough to remember having air raid drills in school where we had to hide under our desks in case of a nuclear attack, as if that would do any good! The teachers and all the adults knew it was totally useless, but the point was to make us kids "feel" somehow safer and therefore less anxious about a nuclear attack. I believe the mask mandate is similar, designed to make the public "feel" safer, nothing more nothing less.
I live in Wisconsin and our governor instituted an indoor mask requirement a couple weeks ago. I refuse to comply and so far no one has said a word to me. I know it's just a token resistance, but it makes me feel good. I think it's sad, though, that I have only seen one other person not complying with the "order". (Fuck Tony Evers, our governor)
LOL. If that ever happened it would be the end of Minneapolis. Those that could afford to get out would, and all that would be left would be tribes and gangs fighting each other. But if that's your idea of utopia, go for it.
I live in Wisconsin and now county and local executives are starting to order their own lockdowns, despite the supreme court ruling. I trust these will either be ignored or struck down by the courts as well. Keeping my fingers crossed.
There are 2 huge groups of people out there, those who have been quarantined for several months and those that have continued working. Why can't we just find out the % of new covid 19 cases coming from each of these groups. If they aren't statistically different then everyone should go back to work.
I seem to remember Brit lefties dancing in the streets singing "ding dong the witch is dead" after Margaret Thatcher died. He was probably one of them. Hypocrite.
