It’s the appeal to authority fallacy at play, perhaps with the authority being an abstraction of the scientific process or unnamed practitioners thereof.
Even Wikipedia gets the genre correct:

Sheesh, the irony.
This is equivalent to a bill of attainder as it, at the minimum, violates the separation of powers in assuming President Trump’s guilt:
I’d watch a highlight announcing the freak show, which is more than I have ever watched of the WNBA.
Oh, I’d probably also watch highlights of crushed hearts from this injustice and then the reactions FW hen it’s reversal.
