I don't pretend anything. It WAS a black and white issue in my case. I had a shot at making it big in a band. We were just about to go int the studio to lay down an album. About a week prior to that, I was shown by God what was really important. My children were growing up without a father, and if I went any further, I would lose everything. That was the ambition that had driven me to work for years, and just when it was within my grasp, I had a choice to make. And I chose what was really important. When i gave us something that had been everything I dreamed about and worked for so long, It was for me a life changing event and I no longer cared to put any kind of obstruction between my family and myself. Maybe you would have done it differently, but there are few 'one size fits all' solutions in this life.So I'm careful about broad assumptions on anyone's character or intelligence based on criteria which I deem most important to me.

The problem with you is you're too one dimensional to consider that not everyone measures success in dollar bills. Apparently , you make a lot of money and therefore want to set the goalpost accordingly. A little something I call 'situational ethics'.

I see. So all the rich liberals in Hollywood must make the best voters. Hell, maybe after reaching 100k people should get two votes, then an extra vote for every 100k above that. Maybe George Soros should hire you. It sounds like a good fit.

What an insulting crock of shit! I'm retired and never made more than 50k in any one year. I could have made more but I chose to be a family man and actually raise my children in an environment where daddy was not always off chasing a buck and I don't regret it one little bit. If money had been that important to me, I'd have more of. As it is, I raised three wonderful, stable children, paid my taxes and voted for whomever I considered the most moral and Godly candidate. oh, and btw, don't make the mistake of thinking that somehow high income goes hand in hand with a high I.Q. Even though many will call bullshit, mine happens to be 158. I just didn't have any ambition in making money...My ambition lay in the Lord and my family. That's where I'm wealthy and wouldn't trade places with anyone.
