100% legal where I live to be minding your own business with a gun in your truck. The fact that the article doesn't accuse him of plotting kidnap/murder/suicide/terrorism/etc. leads me to believe they've got nothing else on him and this is a big nothing burg.
This is just Facebook internet bullying being highlighted to make Texans look bad. That restaurant is doing just fine. I had friends who owed a townhome a block away. This is very popular part of town for college students, hipsters, and young professionals. They're all already wearing masks anyway.
You are wrong. This is just picking the opposite team but playing by the same rules when the rules of the game are wrong. Wokeism (or something) has you framing the world in terms of race based groups. That's what we need to fighting, not the groups themselves. Once they control the premise of the argument, there's no way to win that argument by fighting over the details. We should be trying to steer the narrative towards individualism, meritocracy, and equal protections under the law, not over whether any race-based group is any more or less deserving than any other race-based group.
i'm looking for the poopsock, but i'm not finding it. I call shenanigans
