I guess what I said was unclear since the left has already been using it (incorrectly).
I'm actually talking about real intolerance which is a kind of evil.
It's people who don't want you thinking or living differently from them. And people who don't want you speaking if it conflicts with what they say.
They are the ones being intolerant first, so we need a zero-tolerance policy regarding them.
Maybe not abuse, but all external metrics do point to a bad relationship.
I suppose it might have more to do with him going a little "dick crazy". He's a naturally shy, reserved guy, and he may have thrown himself into his new gay life a little too hard.
Yeah. And I learned about this through a Chinese friend who actually had it happen to them.
Another story she told was how their neighbor couldn't take the bullshit any longer and hung herself. My friend remembered peeking in through the groundfloor window with the other kids to see the body.
Communism is literally hell on Earth.
100% with you. The actual Church is both fortress and path build upon Peter's Rock.
It's just that there are people who think they are Catholic while not understanding what that means. Bergoglio isn't helping...in fact, he's exploiting the ignorance.
I for real lol'd at "I am my own god."
Of course, they'd say something like that.
I think the radio silence might be because they're relieved. Here in LA, the vibe has lightened up considerably. Makes me scared of what will happen when everything gets pulled out from under them.
I agree. Just didn't want to get into the Nazi thing...for obvious reasons. But if you trace the lines, similar behavior, messaging, and tactics were happening then just as they are now.
They're even positioning themselves as victims of the same "Nazi/fascist" enemy.
I'm all for fun, and I understand. :)
Good question. I think it's about balance. Too much governing cohesiveness and you get Imperial China. Not enough and you get warring Native American tribes.
Ancient Rome probably had a good balance during its Republic period, but it them stagnated and crumbled once the Imperium began.
The Mediterranean had some great growth and innovation in the Renaissance because, imo, the trade and competition between nations invigorated their societies.
With the United States, I think balkanization would go too far. We have some great advantages by being able to share the continental resources freely. At the same time, we've probsbly swung too far towards federal power dominating the states. Media and corporate chains have also created a monoculture of sorts.
The best would be to go back to the bedrock concept of a republic. Individual states unified under one God and common ideals.
She said what we were suspecting the whole time. SHE KNOWS.
