Nah.... not fanfic. Imperfect analysis. First thing I thought was stretchy pants with stirrups, but that stopped being fashionable in like 1989.

I couldn't tell if the other "strap" is a strap or part of the background, and considering her leg is straight, the stirrup should be under tension and flat, not bulged. Now if she's wearing the pants halfway down her ass, all bets are off.

Non-incestuous theory: Strap on her left foot looks like it leads to an ankle brace. She's using him to steady herself. Edit: not like one of the medical ones, like a 'Tommie Copper' one you get at Walgreens.

"Phone charger" looks a bit weird, too. It looks like one of those grey wires runs underneath her shirt, down near the beltline.

White bracelet on the left wrist looks a lot like a hospital wristband.

I think she's injured or had a medical procedure recently.

There was no definition, federally. NY and CA made shit up as they went along, and industrious manufacturers found ways around politicians' bullshit.

It would be nice, but there is no provision in the NYS constitution to force the Government to listen to a petition for redress, the goverment has to consent to listening (which is not happening in NY unless you're an oppressed minority that's trending on Twitter).

Like the Federal government, the qualified immunity shield granted to elected officials effectively means they cannot be compelled to take action to redress, either- unless there is a court ruling backing it (like a conviction for a criminal act).

Unfortunately, Chief Justice John Jay sold out the redress of grievances clause within 2 years after the signing of the Bill of Rights. Now the funny thing is that the NYS Senate had a bill in front of them last year that would have made it a reality, but it wasn't made law. In typical NY fashion, it was proposed to let criminals go after cops, but meh... I'll take the 'own goal' all day long.

Soros planted AG. And we refer to her as Laqueefa.

But seriously, Hochul is like Buffalo's Nancy Pelosi. There's no clear path free of this crap.

TL;DR: Think of it as a companion to MTG's efforts. It would prohibit states from banning sale, importation or possession of any "constitutionally protected firearm". TBF, it was originally proposed in the 115th Congress, but there are additional adds this go around (sauce not posted on the dotgov site yet).

*Contraindicated for individuals with diets high in beans, broccoli or Taco Bell. Vaccine effectiveness may be reduced if the delivery system becones a projectile.

This is forum sliding IRL. We know the sex stuff is a smokescreen to people forget the murder.

I'm a little pissed Kat's trying to co-opt the message.

I'd be happy with the old Swiss system where veterans took their service weapon home with them when they retired.

I was issued an 81mm mortar. :)

Apparently "basic research" is not enough if you don't understand what you're reading past the clickbait headline.

The article is about using Cellebrite to physically compromise an iPhone. Not Signal itself. The "journalist" that wrote the title is an ignorant asshole.

Here's a hint: if I get root access (jailbreak in Apple-land) to any phone, I own every piece of data and app on it. Cellebrite just makes it easy for LEOs to do.

Don't take my curtness as a personal attack, this article has been called out and debunked many times over, including on this board. It just keeps coming back up like a bad penny.

Wait, without watching the video, let me guess the big reveal: Because the healthcare lobbyists that put him in there had to make their money after the NYS Government-owned socialized medicine plan got shut down, and realized they could maximize profits if people died "of COVID". So he did his part for a cut of the profits.

Was I right?

Coming from USA Today, I'm betting 36% is way overblown. I'm guessing the real number is somewhere around 13%.

Been following Gun Violence Archive for some time. They went from 2500-3k sources 2012-2018 to 7500 sources in 2019+. Guess how the stats trended? In 2020 they changed the definition of mass shooting to 4+ people shot in one incident from 5+. They use their own definition, not the FBI or any LE's definition.

But one thing they got right... living in NY, gun violence has gone up every year since the SAFE Act was instituted, but it's my black rifles that are evil. Riiiiiiiight....

Not necessarily. You need encased steel or another kevlar / ceramic plate behind steel to stop spalling. Plain steel level III in a plate carrier with any magnum / +p pistol or rifle cartridge becomes its own impact-formed projectile.

Went to the article for the comments and was not disappointed. These people have mental AIDS or mad cow disease, that's the only logical explanation.

Are you investing to make money, or investing to keep the value of what you have?

If you're looking to have a store of value as a hedge against inflation or collapse of fiat, you can't go wrong with gold (which is underpriced now). But it's doubtful you'll make a quick buck on gold or silver, they're too controlled and stable (by design). They're a long term hold.

If you're an investing noob, there are a dozen ways to make money off the market and a thousand ways to lose it all. Buy a book or find a good financial advisor to teach you the ropes before committing any real money.

Agree. You screw the system by shutting your piehole, getting on the jury, and lobbying to be the foreman. Then steer the conversation toward nullification when sequestered.

I don't care if you (the generic you, not u/Lurker404 specifically) don't believe in nullification- it's fact, not faith.

And it's used every day to put criminals back on the street by people too dumb to get out of jury duty.
