Reading the Art of the Deal, one of the things that struck me was how he spins what could be considered defeats into setbacks, and looks for opportunities within them.
I watch this, and I think "Oh fuck, we are losing, they are cheating, and nobody seems to care! My co-workers and family members are all cheering, led on by the media, and I'm lamenting the death of our Republic!"
But I really have to admire Trump's mentality, and try to be more like him. What he sees is that his opponents have moved their pieces too far across the board too quickly, and is patiently moving into checkmate.
