The 300k mark is my upper limit. I would stay within an hour from Nashville but prices vary as you go further out - same deal in MA except the houses fucking suck in MA. It's like nobody ever thought they'd own two cars at any point in their life so everything is 450k with 1 car garages. Fucking pathetic! I'm not putting my life's savings into a dinky house.

Yeah, I want a yard I can maintain and a 2 car (or more!) garage. Not looking for a city life at all, I want to be within an hour of one or so. I went full circle with the city stuff - I lived close to Boston and now I live far out and have zero interest in being there.
