It's not just black lives matter its nearly the media in its entirety. You have people from all walks of life falling to their damn knees and apologizing for their existence, and while the fact that people were planning to use this situation as a political football isn't lost on me, it's the average peon's response to the situation that has me dumbfounded. It's not like I'm talking about abject idiots either, normies granted, but good and intelligent people are willing to believe that they are evil because of melanin and political pressure and I'm not talking about an idea rattling around in the back of their heads. We're seeing videos of whole communities get on their knees and start doing shit like washing the feet of protesters.
The parallels with religious ritual are disturbing to say the least but this shift in peoples behavior is what I find most reminiscent of pre-WWII germany. A sort of reckless abandon of common sense and societal norms, dogmatic chanting of political ideology. I guess its just that they both resemble cults.
