The state robs us for this supposed service and fail at it just like they do every program they run. Their interference in the market creates distortions that remove incentives to build private roads. Why should a private organization repair a state road that they were already stolen from by the muggers of government to "maintain"? With the government owning the land they can also act as a cartel and prevent competition of their roads. Not to mention even if a private road is built you still get taxed by the government when you don't use their roads because of gasoline tax...soon to be mileage tax. I've seen the state "repair" the road and it's a simple process for most potholes literally any mouth breather can do it and that's why government employees are capable of achieving the goal. You can blame people for not fixing the roads, but when the government takes over any service people stop relying on themselves and expect the organization that charged them for the service to actually provide said service. A promise made by the government is a promise soon to be broken.
It's not illegal just looked down upon and often interfered in by the government...the state interference dissuades people from doing it themselves. This is probably one of the biggest examples. https://www.pavingforpizza.com/
work less in the conventional confines of our current system. "work" is subjective maybe work more to better yourself, but work less in ways they profit off of your labor. Work for you more, but for them less. I'll agree the generic phrasing of "work less" is not the best choice.

I hope that's true, but you saw how easily the press and the majority of npc's picked up the title of domestic terrorist for the people who "stormed" the capitol...and of course they were white supremacists and Nazi's according to the press.
