It does seem odd for people supposedly leaving in four days.

The 3 RCH aircraft (the C17s) didn't go anywhere super interesting though. Nothing that would scream "happening", to me, anyway.

If you're talking about the opening image I think that was a problem with his filtering that's showing a lot of planes that landed and should have been dropped off the display.

On closer inspection I think there may be some kind of filtering issue. I just don't see those huge blobs of traffic on ADS-B that are in the image here.

I do see a ton of transports flying all over (24 C130+C17 visible at once), but that's expected since we seem to be mobilizing a lot of troops. That trainer blob in north Texas that's been there in the past is vastly reduced. Lots of activity but I'm not sure I would call it unprecedented like the image appeared to be.

I've been watching Monkey Werx' analysis for several months now... which gives me enough knowledge and context to get myself in trouble, I guess.

The last time there were huge numbers like this was right after the election, and it was heavily weighted towards trainers. A huge blob of trainers was up for day in and day out right in the center of the country. Those blobs are not visible here - particular the one that persisted for quite some time in north Texas.

This is very different from the previous 1000+ planes activity days.

OTOH we might have had heavy fighter activity for a while, and just now they're all turning on their transponders. Kind of a "we may be politically unstable at the moment but if you think you can fuck with us you are badly mistaken" signal. Remember all this stuff is visible to the enemy too.

What in the absolute fuck is going on with all that traffic on the east coast and CA though??!

It's all very sus.

The idea of right-wingers storming the Florida capitol is totally laughable, though. Florida is Rep dominated, has done pretty well in terms of supporting Trump's moves after the 3rd, tried to help the useless Georgia GOP, etc. Florida has a low level of COVID rule bullshit compared to most of the US, and the state Governor has been pretty based supporting anti-BLM and anti-COVID-bullshit rules. And their state capitol is kind of in an irrelevant spot compared to the big population centers.

So we're going to attack... our own side... after travelling an inconvenient distance to even fucking get to them... because uh... oogey boogey skeery skeery.

3/4 of Americans would agree to basically anything at this point if it had a chance of making the COVID bullshit stop.

Yeah, it's really weird. This has gone far beyond "omg there might be protests". You don't need a mechanized infantry division's worth of asskicking power to deal with angry flag grannies or even a couple armed hotheads. And that's just the asskicking power in DC!

It's like America is gearing up to kick the shit out of someone, and there's some tightly puckered assholes from everyone paying attention, because it's not clear who's getting the boot put in.

Even if someone believes Biden is going to grab the crown - then what, he tries to apply a thin veneer of legitimacy by starting a war with some poor overseas fucks?

I mean, worst case scenario, this is just a final "fuck you" troll move by Trump. Kind of an agree-and-escalate to just keep pouring more and more troops in, until it's impossible to take a picture anywhere in DC without NG milling around in the background. They will try and pin the reason on Trump, of course, but there's no escaping having millions of people see that their supposed new leader had to be protected by the legions from the ire of his own supposed subjects.

Or it could be something more. Interesting times, certainly.

I took it as a warning not to get caught up in anything right now because it's false flag potential everywhere. Texted because anything on the internet might be fucked.

There's been warnings of future demonstrations going up towards the 20th and those "demonstrations" look super suspicious.

There's pics of them with rifles, unloading racks of rifles, etc. There's at least one M4 visible in every one of those "troops sleeping in the capitol" images.

Nothing says "relax, everything is going back to normal" like a division or so of armed troops in the national capitol.

It's one of the most vital skills of soldiering, to be able to grab a nap when napping is possible, regardless of terrain, overall situation or even whether you're actually tired.

The price is paid years later when your neck and back are fucked up.

I have to say it is pretty weird for Blue Team to allow a bunch of troops ultimately still under the command of the guy they apparently fear most in all the world to basically wander in and set up shop all around them. Absurd numbers of troops if their mission is to support the already oversupplied local law enforcement, honestly. Even someone paranoid about far right boogeymen ought to be going "holy shit this is a lot of troops" at this point.

Invite them into state capitols, too, because scary rightist people I guess.

There's tons of stuff that doesn't make sense, but I've basically given up on trying to figure it out in the near term. Clarity is only a week away, in any case.

It is weird he's just dropped off the face of the earth. He seems like the kind of person who would be happy to talk shit in front of a compliant reporter about how this election was just the safest and bestest ever in the history of ever.

So it's weird he's just vanished.

Hopefully something will coom of it.

If you look at the pattern of Roberts' votes, he likes to "keep things in balance" by handing out wins like treats.

"Sure, I'm blocking Trump's re-election lawsuits, but lookie! Here's a symbolic judgement that I think will be utterly meaningless since I expect the census to be slow-walked to keep Trump from actually making use of it."

It goes beyond merely ignoring the law when the law is inconvenient, and verges on total contempt for the idea that laws even are a thing.

I do have to say it will be funny to hear leftists scream about standing for a change.

"No standing" really is the universal answer to every question!

It's actually weird we haven't gone through a major constitutional revision. It's a testament to the flexibility of the Founders' vision. But that's pretty much over now. A system where you can openly cheat and nothing happens no longer has any legitimacy.

I for one look forward to the Second American Republic.

You know, this makes me wonder about another story recently - Russia's nuclear command plane getting looted.

https://www.rt.com/russia/508998-doomsday-plane-electronic-equipment-stolen/

I mean, it's not like there's any problems that could happen from people potentially getting access to the nuclear codes of the two premier nuclear powers.

That's definitely odd.

It's basically saying that if there's no determination on the 6th (if the electoral votes are such a clusterfuck that the contest isn't resolved), everyone is stuck with that until the 11th at the earliest since Pence is gone.

If there is a determination on the 6th, there's no turning that machine back on, whatever the outcome is.

...I mean, unless he just leaves before the vote even happens.

Another thing to file under "I have no idea what's going on, but something is". Lot of shit in that file right now.

Interesting that the visit sites they call out are basically key US allies right now. You've gotta check in with Israel (unfortunately), the mid-east, and of course Poland is all in for us and can jam a stick in the EU's wheels if they go full retard.

Yeah, Harrison Deal's death itself was kind of in the "it could be just a weird accident, but if someone doesn't swab that car for explosives they're fucking blind" territory. An investigator in the case "kills himself" on top of it, though? Nah. Now we're firmly in "assume fuckery until proven otherwise".

To be fair there was a brief party in DC, but the swamp is full of people who've been screaming about Orange Hitler for the past 4 years. They don't need to be paid to show up.

I'm admittedly not sure that counts, though, if it's not so much a pro-Biden party as an anti-Trump one.
