It would be funny enough if his name was Coomer. But... but he looks like the Wojak Coomer meme.

Even autocorrect can't believe the guy is literally named Coomer.

Wisconsin the question is over "indefinitely confined" ballots as a way of skipping the ID requirement. IIRC there was already a WI State Supreme Court judgement that just being scared of the coof was not sufficient justification to request an "indefinitely confined" ballot. If true, then winning WI is just a question of going "hey, we just identified all these IC ballots that you already said were bullshit, can we get you to enforce the court judgement you already made?"

The truth cooms out at last!

We're coming so fucking close to prying that gavel out of Pelosi's withered fingers. I don't think it's quite going to happen this year... but let a pede dream.

I have trouble believing that with 8 years of being aware of the electronic voting problem, and 4 of those years in the Presidency, the best that GEOTUS had for the endgame was to (effectively) bring Giuliani out of retirement for one last mission.

On the other hand, though, I think the lawsuits are working out pretty well, all things considered. Wisconsin and Pennsylvania are within reach and that just means one more victory is needed. The early lawsuits (most of which weren't even Trump campaign) were a shitshow but succeeded in keeping the issue alive.

On the third hand, time is running short in which to play whatever cards GEOTUS has left. The theory that what brings it all together is one of the lawsuits getting to discovery (probably Powell in Georgia) and then making a subpoena request to the DoJ for whatever evidence they've collected on voting machine fraud/foreign interference seems the most probable for me, but we'll find out.

How it all shakes out is going to depend on how PA is won, and whether it goes all the way to the Supreme Court.

You might see a situation where a judgement throwing out the mail-ins in PA is not appealed upwards by the state, specifically to avoid the Supreme Court weighing in, since PA alone doesn't get Trump over the top. That sounds insane but we're already way down the rabbit hole at this point.

Don't let the coof bullshit poison relations with your family. Everyone's losing their shit a little during the epic storm of fearmongering. But this, like everything else, will pass.

In the meantime, have a drink with us.

You'd figure if he was just hiding at home, that information would have coom out by now.

shade1k 1 point ago +1 / -0

Thanks for that link.

Comparing the 11/18 count you link and the 11/24 count is still suspect as hell, in that Biden has to take basically all Democrat, all NPA and some of the Republican mail-in ballots which were returned in order to arrive at his numbers for mail-in votes on 11/24. Or a bunch more ballots "showed up" after 11/18 despite that being pretty late in the game.

But unlike the 1.8m vs 2.6m thing it's at least technically possible for him to do that.

You forgot the big guy gets 10%

7
shade1k 7 points ago +7 / -0

Right, that's what I mean. They're using the number returned in the general, compared (apparently) against the number sent in the primary.

But since the number sent in the general isn't available anywhere, it's difficult to be sure whether this was a fuckup or what.

shade1k 10 points ago +10 / -0

The number of 1.8m absentee ballots requested was the number of requests in the 2020 primary election. There were articles about substantially more than that being requested in the 2020 general... but the PA SoS office seems to be taking as much information down as they can, so it's not clear how many were actually requested in the 2020 general.

It'll be weird, because I get the feeling most of the Antifa types won't be rioting for Biden so much as just because they have an excuse to wreck as much stuff as possible.

Compared to the numbers in this tweet, the PA website ( https://www.electionreturns.pa.gov/ ) currently shows Biden with slightly more votes in all 3 categories, and Trump with slightly more mail-in and provisional... but 90k fewer in-person votes?!

1
shade1k 1 point ago +1 / -0

That may be true (honestly the figure quoted by Giuliani in the hearing was so exact that it probably is true).

Can't tell if mistake or cunning plan to force PA SoS to release actual numbers.

shade1k 32 points ago +33 / -1

The 1.8m number may have been from the primary election. Though that would only matter in real court not twitter court. With the PA election authority apparently covering up everything, it's not like they're presenting information to counter it.

Keeping things secure takes a whole shitload of work and mental effort. Combine that with thinking he's the smartest boy in the room, and... yeah, it's entirely possible. It's always easy to coom up with reasons to be lazy.

Also, considering the rumor that he was bragging on a conference call about fucking with the election, this could well be someone with a very tenuous grasp on the concept of OpSec.

shade1k 25 points ago +25 / -0

Jumping at every rumor definitely has a lot of shortcoomings.

2
shade1k 2 points ago +2 / -0

That's the rumor going around. Here's another flavor of it: that Biden wants McConnell to broker things with Trump so that Biden will get pardoned in exchange for conceding once the legal cases blow up.

https://twitter.com/Gtv_Luna/status/1331927477145387008

That one is on a pro-HK channel. Worth it just for the poor Chinese guy struggling to pronounce "McConnell".

Rumors are for humor value only, though.

Because the only way you can guarantee a win is to go over the top with cheating like we saw this time. To go as far as it takes. If you just give candidates an edge, they will win "all things being equal", but that won't stop a wave election.

You don't want anyone to go "wait, these numbers are bullshit" and keep fighting until the truth comes out, because that risks exposing the whole trick. So if giving people a 1-3% edge, or 35k bonus votes, or whatever, doesn't do it, you just have to shrug and try again next time.

shade1k 5 points ago +5 / -0

It always seemed to me like this particular one was one of the weakest of the lawsuits currently in play... and then they don't really even file anything? If the whole goal was just to get something - anything - in front of the Supremes, that's some 4d chess indeed.

I'll believe it when I see it happen. ...but it's 2020, so it sure wouldn't surprise me at this point.

But to the extent that there's any truth behind the LARP, the "intelligence community" likely doesn't give a damn about how many state AG races have been rigged (spoiler alert: probably a lot), as opposed to what happens if foreign countries start trying to cut their puppet strings.
