either that or somebody's not-so-quietly got the goods on other top contenders- which would be why the DNC/corporate dems have begrudgingly allowed bernie to break through in a way they shamelessly wouldn't permit around this time in 2016
wow what? show me where i'm wrong
i'm something of a hobby linguist. in swedish, this phrase loosely translates to "give them a hard time" rather than "they're next for the ultra deluxe step-right-up-and-become-swiss-cheese and help-us-paint-the-sidewalk-red ride at ideological disneyland"
couple things:
- i don't live in california
- even if i did, i'd do my best to organize a "get out the vote to get this guy out" effort
- he.. kind of seems to represent the interests of the majority of his constituency
- on what basis would you recall him as a congressperson?
for some people, pain can be pleasure
within this context, try to be one of those people. their house of glass shatters and comes tumbling down with a single stone, and they're just about ready to cast that son of a bitch
the optics could be worse than they currently are
barr is a decent guy, doing what he can; but shuttering him in favor of a "yes man" or "wingman" would look fairly corrupt. beyond that, doing the same with his FBI director would look equally bad.
his best move is to let it crash and burn in the senate, let the dems squawk for a while, and then- once the dust has settled- reshuffle the deck with people he trusts to protect not just himself but any future president from these sorts of antics
i have a most unsavory idea, but it might be useful as a thought experiment
kidnap her, as quietly as you can, and dump her in malmö. maybe bind her hands, slip on some ankle weights, paint a star of david on her back, and just.. let the piranhas do what they do
he'd better watch his back. japan doesn't fuck around with this stuff; and if he's not careful, he'll also be spending some time in the clink
japan is very, very serious about border controls. both times i've visited, they demanded the known address and duration of stay for anywhere me, my wife, and our girls were even potentially planning on staying. we were warned, explicitly, in both english and in japanese, that it is a crime to stay anywhere else- that they'd legally consider it an evasion of japanese border protection authorities if we deviated from our plan. we were given a number to call and email address to notify if we decided to stay at a different AirBNB, hotel, "friend's house," or anything else like that
i don't know how harshly they prosecute people who accidentally or otherwise stupidly forget to notify the proper authorities of changes to the accommodations for their visit, but- in effect- this idiot is challenging the system of law of another nation. this most likely falls in the broad category of foreign subversion of rule of law in japan- an old set of laws designed to keep chicomm psyops types from coming in and undermining japanese sovereignty/rule of law
so- anyway, the tl;dr is that this guy's in for a world of hurt if he doesn't cool his jets
my dream is to be a space cowboy, but i fairly regularly wear spirit hoods
perhaps we could be good friends
feel free to message me; i'm something of hobby historian with a keen focus on friedman, hayek, lincoln (the company and the president), sowell, and ron paul if you have any interest in those figures or the positions for which they advocate/-d
interesting. yeah not my cup of tea, but it's morosely entertaining that you suspect i'm here for any other reason than wanting trump to win in 2020
there might be a few assholes engaged in subversion here, and i don't expect you to believe me through a few messages alone, but you're free to look at my reddit account anytime you please: u/i_hug_strangers
reddit is a husk of its former self, and i'm happy to shit in people's cheerios for the delicious, salty tears on a regular basis
you know- over the past two weeks, i really feel like everything is coming together. the left is precipitating another civil war that they're even more assuredly going to lose this time; couldn't possibly be more excited
remain vigilant, young rustler
personally, i prefer the arabic quote-tweet of this one. it was significantly more effective and well-spoken. obviously, he didn't write it; but whoever did is a phenomenal writer
i responded with similarly flowery language in arabic
a certain mr. wiggin had something to say about this
