As it stands, the mobile site is pretty fucking awesome. May be an app in the future.
There have been a number of iterations of them. Some match upvotes with downvotes until they run out of bots, some seem to target shitty posts with upvotes and downvote substantial posts, others are dumb and just throw out downvotes on every post. I'm sure there are others that we've missed/I've forgotten about.

Nothing's getting filtered, so that's not the issue. Are you trying to submit a link post but also writing text? Maybe that's the issue. Try doing it as a text post and including the link in the body.
Thanks to Reddit we had to launch early, so it's possible the modmail isn't currently working. Honestly I'd imagine modmail is probably pretty low on the short-term list of fixes. Currently I believe it's just an email address that may or may not be online yet.
Should it come to not being able to fund the place or asking for donations, I'm sure we'd do the latter, and be 100% transparent with the money. We just don't see that happening as it stands.
