I hope in the years to come that TheDonald.win transcends Trump after his second term. We have a good and informed community and I think it can survive a post Trump era. Besides, he will still have time for twitter shit posting. I do worry about a schism years from now, but maybe that is just the normal course of things. I also hope that the left's demonstrations of the power of unity have left an impression. Conservatives may be stubborn and armed but charging in one at a time at an issue just means easy pickings.
Of course we had and have the man himself in common, at first, but it has become quite clear that regardless of skin hue we have more in common than "our betters" want us to remember. Black conservatives exist says the increasingly nervous media. Trump was serious when he said he should teach the Republicans how to win. And man are they some of the dumbest students I have ever seen.
Trump is OUR "Bernie". Or rather, Bernie is their "Trump". Someone who can and will disrupt the political class. Well Trump said he would and he has. Sanders said something very important to his followers in 2016, and it's why you see people like AOC and other whackos...but the message is sound...run for office. All offices. Local. School Board.
