From the website:
"Due to the irregularity of this current 2020 Presidential Election, this is a crowdsourcing tool for organizing anomalies and legal issues. Our desire is that more of the election process would be made transparent so there would be unquestionable confidence in our voting systems.
This is for aggregating publicly available items of evidence that would be admissible in court, not general election news stories or updates."
yeah, I'm with you and not ready to run with this one - just yet.
On the surface, this looks like reporting data for media purposes in terms (percentages) they can understand and report with. Election offices are concerned with actual vote totals not percentages.
Not saying this is insignificant, but needs clarification/verification too.
cloud = 'someone else's computer' - do it offline, not cloud
Update: Seems like I'm not the only one saying this. https://pjmedia.com/election/matt-margolis/2020/11/09/flashback-millions-signed-petition-urging-electors-to-vote-for-hillary-after-trump-won-in-2016-n1132448
Just keep in mind - the process for selecting electors is up to each state, and its not consistent. The US Constitution only requires an state elector to cast a vote. How the states select and manage each elector is part of states' rights under their own state constitutions. Why do you think some states pushed to change their electoral votes based on national popular vote instead of the state vote? This is part of that reason.
That said, from where we are today, don't underestimate the ds to try an attempt to sway them. You can bet its on their radar so we damn well sure need to have it on our radar too.
"They simply can't do that"??? - nothing has surprised me so far. The electoral votes belong to the elector - not the people (as 2016 taught us). Remember, this election was about getting the electors based on party. Generally the electors vote along party lines - but there is nothing that prevents them from voting across party lines too. This was the basis in 2016 and this is why I am warning again; as it's guaranteed they will try to apply pressure, likely through social intimidation at this summer has shown us.

They will try to play this out in the 'court of public opinion' and attempt to sway them anyway.
That they did - and no doubt they are going to try it again.
I was 3rd in line @ 30 min before polls opened in rural TN. By the time polls opened at 7a, the line stretched around the building. After casting my vote - there were easily 150 people in line. I've never seen that many before where I live. I love it!
I've been voting for Marsha since she successfully fought the state income tax here in Tennessee. She's my Senator!
They know they are going to lose - and badly. This is pure cover so they don't hand Trump a series of new soundbites.
McMoons Ames AFB
You worked at McMoon's at Ames AFB didn't ya?
why do you think they emptied the prisons for? Covid?
I live in the greater Nashville area (not in Davidson county) and go downtown on occasion.
In my experiences, the bartenders, waitstaff and patrons are already pissed over the constant moving goalpost rules and regulations for fear of being shut down. Many of their colleagues have lost jobs, revenue and places to live. I thought the property tax hike was going to push them over the edge - but this may finally do it.
My vision for federal elections:
-
Election Day should be a federal holiday with in-person voting, photo ID, paper ballots, and blue/purple finger dye.
-
Voter registration should be purged annually and re-registration (like your car's license plate) required. Registration should close 2 weeks prior to any election.
-
No early voting. Everyone votes on election day. With Election Day as a federal holiday, the polls should be open for 24 hours opening and closing at midnight. As a federal holiday, most businesses would close anyway.
-
Paper ballots should be fill in the circle, feed into scanner by the voter which immediately validates it. Then paper ballot sealed and inserted into ballot box with the voter's finger dyed immediately.
-
Absentee ballots should be unmarked and brought to any local election office in-person if inside the US and the process certified as above. Outside the US, should be done at US Embassy/consulate, US military post, or similar gov't agency that can preserve the integrity of the ballot.
Watch these companies returning funds. I’m betting they won’t survive and intend on declaring bankruptcy and know this would come back and bite them.

- If it takes a week or so to count the votes, so be it. The integrity of the vote is more important than speed.
