"He backed a startup that makes fake meat from plant substitutes, which was later responsible for the "impossible burger"."
"In the end, though, I couldn’t keep it going, and I eventually returned to my carnivorous ways.
But he's made no secret of his love for Big Macs, and fills up on McDonald's when he's on the road.

Public schools do have benefits and purpose, but the school paradigm doesn't really match with the world we exist in. However, the question isn't whether we should change things, it's what they want to change it to and who's in charge of that.
Racism is happenstance, and is a blanket eugenics like term. It's a simplistic view of a larger puzzle piece. That we all happened to group together in the past, in different areas, eat and live in same environments and reproduce with people in that group, is why people from different groups all look different. Looking different is a quick identifier that you're dealing with a different group. Whether that's something easily identifiable as skin color, or anything else.
Almost all animals and definitely predators have in group and out group preferences. It's a survival instinct. It's a fear instinct for survival purposes.
What we as humans are trying to do is out think our nature.
The problem with coexistence is terms. All groups have different values, different culture, different ways of living and then there's just straight up domination and power. Those terms by which we agree to coexist is a constant war. Everyone plays whether they want to or not, and there is reason to be wary of out groups, because they are in an internal struggle for the terms of coexisting.
This problem may be solved (at least from a "race" perspective) over time as everyone intermingles, but new sets of groups will most likely emerge in a never ending cycle.
They played by gentlemen's rules in how they played war games with the United States. The Soviet Union fucked over their people because they were boring and uncreative. Every problem was solved with a sledgehammer.
The CCP on the other hand are more creative in the art of war, just read the art of war. They use Unrestricted Warfare to fight against the United States. Meaning, everything is a weapon in any way. They won't even tell you they're at war.
Your statement may have had some credibility under Jiang Zemin or Hu Jintao, but not under Xi Jinping.
Private industry is not really private. It's communist party members being set up by their corrupt political friends, and if you're of any relevant size, controlled by the state. And if you piss off those friends, you disappear. And Xi has been making moves to take over industries and unprivatize them.
Xi's goal is to implement full blown world wide communism. Communism doesn't come in its Utopian version, you work towards it in stages.
As I stated before, most of this stuff is an illusion, because they're forced to work within the multi-national capitalist system. That system, that's controlled by the United States. China has been setting up, building out and implementing its own system to trade with other states. That's not based on the US system. We're inside of the thing that's happening, we're necessarily looking back at how it'll play itself out.
All communists states are totalitarian, that's how they work. They are very much communist. Especially as long as Xi Jinping is leader. You're just wrong. It's not up for debate. The CCP clearly states that they are communist running a communist country. Ask yourself what state capitalism really is, rather than reading the word capitalism.
The problem with the USSR is that they still played by gentlemen's rules, they set up communism in a rather boring, uncreative way. The CCP play by their own rules and are very creative in how they operate and how they're building towards their Chinese communist dominated utopia.
It's not that the CCP is better than the United States, it's more that they're the only ones who know they're at war. Unrestricted war.
China is a communist country. They use a state capitalism model inside communism within a capitals multi-national framework. Their state capitalism is a farce, and is temporary until they leverage enough power to demand other countries do things their way. Which is happening every day.
A strong United State, which it would have been with another 4 years of Trump or at least headed in that direction would defeat China handily. However, not when the people who are now running the country are selling us out to China to skim a few dollars off the top.
We're not talking theoretical utopian timeline, we're talking about how things work in reality. Thinking that the wall is going to come down and everyone's going to jerk each other off and dance naked in the streets, was naive and silly.
One side stopped fighting a war, and the other side didn't, while we welcomed the enemy with open arms as they plotted against us. And appear to be winning.
Better to have an enemy you know, rather than 7 billion enemies you don't. The problem is that sometimes the thing you think you want isn't the thing you really need.
How much of Reagan's failures were actually Reagan and not say Bush running shit in the background while senile Reagan put on a smile for the cameras.
Was the soviet union collapse a good thing though? East German communists take over Germany push Communist ideals to the EU. Makes Americans lazy, lets our guard down, we elect Clinton who brings in China, now we're attacked internally from foreign invaders (including those made citizens by Reagan). Russia gets gang raped and strip mined by cronies and billionaires.
Tell me how that was a good thing, and for who exactly?
While this bill may not pass or at least shouldn't on constitutional grounds alone. This isn't a new tactic. They're making outrageous demands to come to a compromise or to plant ideas, to start a conversation, etc. Although, given the times, they may be trying to be more aggressive than usual.
This isn't clown world. This is how it was suppose to work. Stop thinking it's funny and realize that's how they're attacking you.
Guess why the need more police officers. Guess who decides who gets hired as police officers. Guess what hiring agency that 6.4 million dollars goes to.
Then you manufacturer a problem, send in the cavalry, they set up their scheme. Everything goes back to normal and everyone forgets. Except now the US is compromised again, while the politicians and their friends ride off with the people's money.
Global warming (according to them) isn't about record high numbers. It's about a few degrees increase and how that fucks everything up. So, if you want to argue global warming, actually have the argument. Don't make up bullshit. They do this every single time.
Reduces the value of old money and raises the value for new money. Unless, you have the ability to leverage the market before everyone else.
Pulls everyone down to the bottom. If minimum wage was $7.50 and you're making $15.00, your value is twice that of minimum wage. Once they raise the rate to $15.00, your value is reduced in half, along with everyone in between. Even the guy who makes $18.00 now feels like a chump. Race to the bottom. Large corporations raise their rates, while the smaller businesses have to play catch up, or wait for the market.
The only people who benefit from minimum wage increase is people with capital to outmaneuver the competition. Whether that's Walmart with lower prices, someone buying up failed resources for cheap, etc.
But y'all sure eat that shit up though.
