Terrorism. We HAVE to stop referring to it as violence. Lots of people justify violence. Violent people didn’t commit 9/11. Terrorists did. What they are committing isn’t violence. It’s terrorism. Start making them have to defend it.
Nobody said it was. Unfortunately, sometimes, funding terrorism is not technically a crime. But it fucking should be. He said those companies have rules about funding crime, which is what you’re doing when you pay for a known criminal to get out of jail, knowing full well they’ll go right back to committing the same crimes they were locked up for in the first place
Unfortunately I myself sometimes think you may be right. I think it could have been possible had things not been how they have been in this country for as long as they have. But racial tensions have been brewing for too long, and people have gotten more tribal, especially in the last 5 years. I think we are definitely getting past the point of no return unless something drastic happens soon
