I'm in the same boat even up until a year ago. Covid allowed me to have time to research what I wanted, and without fail, I kept coming up on the same side as him. Every time I made it past the first page of google results, the truth was there.
Very thankful to be where I am today. A firm foundation for my beliefs and opinions is so much better than the "well, all my friends, coworkers, and new sources say something, so I'll just say that as well."
