Agreed, i've really been liking Lou's segments recently, calm, collected, asks the important questions and gets good answers or simply provides good information.

Rather than trying to form a narrative it seems to be more of a "here's the info, decide for yourself" approach.

Errm no its not and it shouldnt be on a computer handling election data.

If that USB stick had your bank balance on it, and when they returned to the tabulator your balance will be updated would you trust it?

You can use systems developed by a 3rd party but you CANT have them both SUPPLY and OPERATE the system.

It would be silly for the government to develop their own voting machines as they are government not hardware and software manufacturers.

Believe it or not most things, say the machines that make drivers licenses, are not manufactured internally.

The real flaw here is that the voting systems have shit auditing and security - the fact the tabulators are just a windows laptop running software is a pathetic illusion that its a hardware device and has probably skirted a lot of certification issues by 'offloading' the requirements to the vendor (Dominion) who themselves are not being audited whilst operating the whole damn thing - THATS the issue here.

Having a machine crash and 'calling tech support' to be able to continue counting votes in itself is pathetic - why don't they already have redundancy there. The whole structure is a lot of smoke n mirrors giving a false sense of robust security - anyone working as a serious and respected security IT person would be horrified if they had to tell their boss "yeah the machine crashed again, Timmy is on his way down here now to get us going again sir, no i cant do anything we have to just wait"

Thats rather judgmental and shortsighted tbh

Have you ever been put on the world stage live and asked questions on the fly before? It's easy to think you might do better but unless you've been in that position or even just in front of a panel even without the world watching i don't think it's your place to make such a harsh judgment.

She's confident and passionate - i feel you're just trying to discredit her, are you a mole?

The only thing i could even attempt to criticize her for would be the closing part where she says that she wasn't meant to mention that one thing, but it wasn't very clear what that thing was - plus she stated that the only reason she did is because others had already mentioned it.

If Sidney/Rudy wanted her to not say particular things for a secret reason they haven't explained to her clearly, she shouldn't have put her on the world stage - you can't have it both ways, that's on them not her.

You might see this as not disciplined but i see it as being a very quick rational thinker who is fully aware of her surroundings/situation and it was her decision - she isn't beholden to anyone, she isn't being paid or under any legal obligations (AFAIK). Again, it's likely an average Joe would underestimate her and she has learnt to use this to her advantage, trust me she's a hidden talent.

I'd hire her in an instant, everything i heard her say checks out and she dropped some gems that confirm to me she's legit.

Its a breach in the chain of custody period.

Unless this is specifically documented and authorized in advanced its a breach.

I have years of experience with PCI-DSS (credit card transactions) certification and auditing so i know all about chain of custody and breaches etc.

This isnt an electronic breach like hacking this is a process breach. It's a BIG no no and would get you a fail in an audit.

it would show up if you just ran the same batch over and over but thats not what they did exactly... they would run SOME batches through twice but the way in which they triggered this makes them seem a little bit different.

How i know she's telling the truth is she mentioned the batch sizes of 50!! this is important because i've spent a LONG time going through Georgia's data and indeed in many large county's they break up the absentee ballots into batches of 50.

How they do the double thing is lets say i have a batch like this:

trump / biden / jorg / blank 10 / 35 / 3 / 2

Well see how there is two blank ballots at the end? I'll use the term blank but its technical more than blank, its under/error too, basically it throws up an error that it cant determine the vote for that ballot. Now.. the first time its run the machine records those amount but errors for human correction.

  1. They can then look at the ballots and either adjust the results electronically (in which case the batch is complete)

OR (but in the case of being dodgy AND)

  1. They can duplicate the physical ballots with an issues (eg they are smudgy or have other marks the machine fails to read correctly) and then they discard the bad ballot, put the freshly duplicated one IN THE BATCH and then run the BATCH again... so this second time it might look like this:

trump / biden / jorg / blank 10 / 37 / 3 / 0

Notice how the blank is now 0 but the Biden has increased by 2 as that's how i 'duplicated' the bad ballots to be.

Thing is, you can then 'complete' the pending results which means BOTH set of results have gone through.

Hopefully this makes sense... anyway.. point is.. her story checks out from my knowledge - she's the real deal IMHO!!

She did actually respond but its not a simple answer as "i was there to make hamburgers" so to the novice it would sound as though she didn't - but it's a difficult thing to answer in the way they wanted.

When you're hired as IT support for things like this its reactionary.. so you're there to be able to assist or provide support in the event of issues.

What issues?! well you don't know because most of the time its user error not machine error so there is no simple answer to what you might be doing. It could be as simple as an error on the screen that the operator doesn't understand or they encounter a scenario which the pre-determined steps don't account for.

Her testimony makes perfect sense to someone who has done this type of stuff before, she got training about the system, she knows how it works in terms of running batches through and what happens when there's an error etc. I've only done a little bit of research into it (not because of her testimony but because i needed to understand a few things to interpret some data i was trawling through) and even with my limited knowledge i can say with confidence that she wasnt bullcrapping.. she actually is intelligent and understands how the Dominion machines work - i think she flew under the radar because she's smarter than she may appear from first impressions.

CodeMonkeyz would be able to validate her claims if anyone thinks its bullcrap as he's aware of how the system works too, anyone could go read the manual and learn it if they wanted it just takes a bit of time to wrap your head around.

It's fantastic she's come forward because if one state falls, it basically will have a Domino effect to the other remaining ones using the same Dominion setup.

Hoping she is one of the secret weapons that Rudy/Sidney has been holding back on, but it confusing me why they haven't used that in the court cases. I dont wanna be that "trust the plan" guy but if they ARENT doing that i think it was negligent not to include her in the court case.

her testimony matches my theory with the duplicate ballots in georgia where they run batches through multiple times... but nobody cared :(

she knows what she's talking about and i hope it gets traction but im worried they'll play the game of "what evidence do you have" and it will just be her word and shrugged off

I think the funny part is that SHE doesnt even reveal her sources internally...

"both from republican who have come out... but ..uhh .. those who have..."

Her mannerisms strongly suggest she's being very careful with her words and not being entirely forthcoming. This is like an awkward management meeting where something else higher up is going on.. anyone who has been in one will know what im talking about.

At least we know they eat their own dog food! Shame in their case what they are eating is worse than dog food :)

(its a perfect and real saying for those unfamiliar, look it up)

No problem, i'll admit its been a rollercoaster of a ride so far even for myself so i know what you were feeling..

Still plenty on the clock - look at it this way 6th of January is where it gets scary.. its only been about 4 weeks and during that time on the surface it seems like not much has happened but if you stop and think.. ignoring the law cases.. things such as vote counts and house seats have improved!

My gut tells me that Trump is trying to stay out of it for the moment but he's on the ball, the best outcome is one where this is resolved by the people (ie not the administration) cause otherwise the narrative will be twisted that he's a dictator that is power hungry etc - they've done that even before so can you imagine the uproar if a week after election he had the FBI raiding poll locations? Add to this i think he's also using it to bait'n'catch and/or giving the those an opportunity to come forward on their own first.

Remember nothing has gone before SCOTUS yet and theres always that executive order lingering in the background.. been awfully quiet on that front ;)

Dont you know anything about marketing and promotion?!

Timing is just as important as content, especially when you're going for maximum impact.

You wouldnt advertise a chainsaw during the saturday morning cartoons, and you wouldnt advertise barbie dolls during a late night R rated movie. Or well i mean you could it would be hilarious having kids write to Santa asking for a chainsaw this Christmas but you wouldnt be likely to get sales.. even with the nagging kid factor :)

Smiles aren't always voluntary, even if she was watching fake ballots being counted and rubbing her hands in glee i'd say thats a little unsettling but not inappropriate :)

Live a little, no need to be so serious and composed all the time!

They're actually rather simple machines when you compare them with say an ATM, its why they can be so easily abused.

An xbox/playstation has better security.

But its actually the tabulators which is where the dodgy stuff is happening which is just a computer with software.

The FBI been cut off from the internet?

They cant just google and find what he's released?

Or they dont want to talk to Sidney?

So many questions why this is news, like cool they asked, but i would have thought if they were taking it seriously you'd ask him to keep the request hush hush.

Still seems more like a show n dance just so people stop criticizing the FBI.
