The goal isn't demoralization it's realization and never forgetting. My local offices have been worthless throughout covid, I live in MI. They've let Whitmer run wild. Our federal races are screwed here as well.
Yes local races are still viable until they start stealing down ballot completely, but being on the library board isn't going to do anything meaningful in the long run. The point is don't think things are magically going to fix themselves if you "vote harder" in 2022 or 2024 unless these issues are addressed in meaningful way.
I took this advice 3 years ago. Was walking to my car from a bar at around 10pm or so, a group of 7 or 8 older black teens all turned and looked at me as I was getting closer, I got a weird feeling and crossed the street... they called me a racist fuck and started yelling random things at me. I took out my phone walked at the same pace and ignored them. No shame in thinking I probably would have been fucking curb stomped otherwise. Rather be a racist with all my teeth I guess.

What I mean is I believe civil war is here and going to get hot soon, secession is a viable alternative but will lead down the same path of civil war in the end.
Unfortunately I think that's as likely to happen as a civil war at this point. No way would the federal government in power currently (China) allow the farm land to be separated in anyway.
Just think about it though, don't dare do anything else. Don't go out and protest or anything because they will just use that to take more rights! Sit in your chair in your house and think about this and the voter fraud until you hear the inevitable knock on the door then peacefully go to your grave.
