the supreme court has two choices, allow this traitorous insurrection AND watch it's own power diluted by the "packing of the court" or uphold the rule of law and maintain their integral power of nine in the all-important constitutional balance of powers. I like our chances at the scotus.

That's exactly how I see him - not many people know history, sadly, but Trump is the Teddy of our time. Teddy was literally hated by the msm of his time. He wrote a famous reply to his critics in the msm: "it's not the critic that counts, it's not the person who points out how the strong man strumbled or where the doer of deeds could have done better; the credit belongs to the man who is in the arena, and who - at worst - if he fails, he at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat." This is a redacted, imperfect version (my memory) but the tone is spot on Teddy R. It's also spot on The Donald. Two peas in a pod are P-Teddy and P-Trump.
