I was originally more warm to this idea, but if they are not going to force you to do this, then do not do it. Weigj the benefits and the risks, and make your own choices. Also, don't go around flaunting that you're not getting the vaccine, this is a personal matter.

I hope it doesn't get that bad, we had talked about guns in person once and I bit my tongue a bit. Wasn't in the mood today plus it was over text. It really does seem like the most acceptable type of racism is against white people and Asian people. I wouldn't call it the same level of racism though that used to exist. Given some time though it could get to that point within a few decades.
I just had a pretty interesting conversation with him lol, he tried to cite CDC numbers to prove that Texas had the highest gun mortality rate or something like that, I told him that DC has a much higher murder rate, 16.5 based on the number that I saw versus Texas which had a number of 3.2 per 100,000. Kind of went into a tangent after that and he started talking about suicides. I told him that if people really want to commit the suicide and they don't have a gun they will just find other way. I think he got tired after that because he just said really wow man. I asked him if he really disagreed with that, and if he were suicidal and didn't have a gun if he would just give up on trying to commit suicide, that's where the conversation ended. I have really dumb friends man, good guy but Jesus.

Is this confirmed? I just had somebody messaged me about how I can support owning guns without a permit, to which I replied that the second amendment is the permit and the only real restriction should be age-based and criminal record. The dude lives in Texas too, not a native but he lives there.
