At church today one of the elders commented that he drives by a lot of churches to get to ours. He had noticed that in the last few weeks all of the churches have full parking lots. My father said his church has many people at the services he goes to and the church he watches on YouTube seems to be doing good as well.

I've already seen "Don't look now but we're totally gonna have more shortages in stores" articles despite the same articles admitting that there's nothing really in danger of disappearing. Most people are still eating the stuff they hoarded in the spring.
Spent years at Reddit. I always mourned the death of real message boards but Reddit was ... okay, in its place (better than Facebook groups but that's a super low bar.)
Now I don't know why people go there except for very niche subs and even then I don't get it.
It just so happens I remember an article I saved for times like this.
If you want to save the read the guy lost his wife, his kids, has no access to his grandchildren and has been expressly forbidden to contact them. He blames his kids. He blames society. He blames his "Episcopalian god" (whatever the fuck that means) but never once does he look in the mirror and say, "You know what, maybe I was wrong." Nope. It's on everyone else.

I knew one girl in college I was interested in but then I found out she was really pro-abortion and probably posts to childfree. She talked about how awful her mom was and how she should've been aborted. No dad in the picture, of course.
I feel bad for her.

Yeah it's kind of like how I grew up in the church and kind of envy those who had a real dramatic Road to Damascus moment. I also don't want to be the Prodigal Son's older brother, though and shun those who had some problems but came back to the fold.
