At this moment, I feel utterly defeated. I want to have hope or do whatever it takes to preserve my country and the rights it gives for everyone, regardless of their person. People say we're nuts when we say communism is at our door step but we all see it. That our government is in line with big tech and will begin to oppress us similarly to other beginnings of communism, most notable USSR and China. I have a feeling that Trump was in on it, but I don't want to believe it. I'm a NYC Teacher and my job alone is crushing my hope because the people I work with have no regard for people who think differently than them, the idea of a collective is just zombie mode for people. What are we to do if we lose this, because we all know this is it and there's no going back.

I'm not a doomer, but we need action.

Is there any hope anymore, or is it all bullshit?
