Really, so the next time a suspect fights them, steals their weapon and points it at them, would their mortgage payments pay themselves? Would their kids be better off without their fathers/mothers? Or how about if they defend themselves and get jailed and prosecuted with potentially the death penalty. What happens then? These are all bullshit execuses spineless people make. No one is saying they should just quit. Everyone is encouraging them to call in sick. If they can't do that, they might as well bend over in front of every criminal in that city including the crooked DA and mayor. Muh mortgage is a coward's excuse to bow down and surrender.
This isn't advocating "defund the police". This is advocating stopping that cold, now. If the police take a stand now, mark a redline and stop showing up to work once it is crossed, the dems will understand that they can't just push them around forever. The fastest way to stop the "defund the police" bullshit is to give them a preview for a day or two until they come to their senses. This whole no fighting back approach the police have taken so far is a recipe for disaster. If every time a police officer justifiably killed a suspect he gets the book thrown at him, eventually you might as well defund the police because no sane police officer is going to enforce any law against anyone who is likely to fight back. You'll end up with a police force that only goes after people who won't resist arrest or pose any threat. Basically, they would be the democrats enforcement arm against law abiding citizens for shit like going to the park.
