People sought Jesus to save them on the macro level, but he "only" saved them on the micro level.

Sounds to me like maybe you are good. We can only do things at a micro level and micro scale, so we think we need saving at a macro level, but Jesus does the micro level at the macro scale.

They look like fantastic standing desk adaptors.

Maybe this means they'll now crush us hard in the 15 min standup meetings. And at this point, those are the only types of meetings our President will take anymore.

We as Christians need to return Easter to God. No child that celebrates Easter should be temped to stray because of pagan bullshit.

sordfysh 2 points ago +2 / -0

If the boy sees Easter about the eggs, he will not be satisfied with the holiday. If the boy sees Easter about Jesus, he will find the holiday fulfilling.

IMO, all this pagan shit is garbage. Drop the eggs, drop the bunnies. Drop the candy.

We need real traditions that honor that Jesus defeated by taking our punishments for sin. Maybe I'll start a tradition of using calaveras or some shit to make fun of death on Easter.

Listen to different priests on podcasts. Or maybe listen to some pastors.

Maybe it's time to consider a different church to receive God's Word and the Sacrament.

This is a typical scenario test. But in this case, it's completely incompetent. They completely misjudged how this thing would play out.

This makes me frustrated because of how ignorant they are.

Frankly, you could guess that the next big thing would be a coronavirus like SARS. But the Chinese made it happen. And the US elites bungled the response almost constantly.

It's a standard preparedness scenario test.

It is incredibly flawed. The assumptions made about the public are retarded and ignorant. The priorities are misguided.

And even from a preparedness standpoint, they completely misunderstood the role they would need to play.

Idk why people are upset at this. It's typical East Coast circle jerk. They come up with something they see as a possible scenario and they ask each other how well they would be prepared. They then pat themselves on the back and go home.

My prayer has not become "MAGA", but instead, Show Your Greatness Again.

God is my King, my Lord, my President, my Governor. And His nation is the whole world.

If He can bring more people to see His glory by destroying the USA, then I pray that He takes pity on those who seek him, even if it's just those who seek Him because they have run out of answers.

If His will is that we can make our nation worthy in His eyes by being a light to the world in freedom, then I pray He make us great in His eyes.

I know that America has potential to be great again, and I work in my community to make my community a better place, a safer place, a freer place, and a more welcoming place. But I see that God has hardened the hearts of many many people in this country. For that reason, I remind myself that God is permanent but America is not. And that no matter our country, we are children of God set to serve him. The Constitution is just paper. Our freedom comes from God. And it might be only in death, but at the very least, he grants us freedom in heaven. And it's freedom from all oppressors, addictions, and fears, while the Constitution only purports to free us from oppressors.

Make Your Will Be Done. MAGA if Your will be MAGA.

MYWBD.

There has been a serendipitous force in my life as well that I have physically witnessed.

If you are like me and you have been in some dark waters only to be miraculously carried to shore, you know that your life is already forfeit, and that it's time to get to know whoever saved us.

I really started getting into the Bible, and I have found that it has a lot of good shit in it that you can't know about unless you have suffered or been hurt or trapped by the world. I have always kept an open mind about things, but the Bible has spoken a lot of truth that you can't know about unless you have seen and felt suffering, like addiction. In a way, God treats the Israelites like a family member struggling with addiction.

Also, the Bible makes some prophesies about life and the world that we can see with our own eyes are true, but that they go so contrary to how we want the world to work. And then it tells you how to deal if you are struggling with some of those issues.

Go online. Find their online sermons and listen to them. Right now, everyone is broadcasting for covid.

If they speak the Word, then the Lord is with them.

Malcolm X is not given enough credit in history.

They see him as a footnote to MLK, but I think Malcolm X may have been a better role model on self-sufficiency.

I think we really need to rethink who the Civil Rights heros were. There's for sure evidence that Rosa Parks was not the hero she was made out to be, being a legal actress for the NAACP. Not that the laws or rules weren't wrong, but generally just understanding her role in that legal case and subsequent narrative.

You're going to get charged with a hate crime with your speeding ticket because you are going to berate the cop on why it's bad to be gay.

That or you are looking to get hit on by a cop.

They believe themselves to be fighting the Egyptian oppressors when they attack the established system.

They think that if they raise enough hell, the oppressors will stop oppressing. But the oppressors are not particular people but instead are greed, addiction, etc. So their actions are often misguided and misdirected.

Also, the Jewish people often feel that their resident or birth country is not their home and that they are perpetual foreign nationals wherever they are. This means they claim to have no individual ability to help, but they also hold little loyalty to their general community.

Granted this is not all Jews. But it's a pervasive set of ideas that are inherently globalist despite them being Zionists for Israel. Reminds me of bad Christians who hold beliefs that they live in their own promised land and that God allows them to sin without remorse.

The travel pillows are perhaps even more useful than the originals.

Find the ones that have the softer fabric if you use it in bed. Otherwise, they make great throw pillows or couch pillows.

You better start with your community, first. If your community doesn't look out for one another, you won't be ready.

Make sure that nobody in your community is in need and tempted to sell you out. You can always spot the people who are greedy. You don't always see the people who are desperate.

It was a slamdunk case where even Evers's office knew it was illegal, yet it only got ruled illegal 4-3. The progressives on the bench are far left lunatics. Listen to their cases and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Wisconsin is literally 1 supreme court seat away from being USSA.

Graduate student loan rates from private institutions are around 12℅ annually.

Banks are legally not allowed to lower your rate based on your statistical likelihood of paying it off in a reasonable time.

The system is a racket. It preys on people who feel like they need this education, and then it puts the chains on them.

The Bible says that charging your neighbor usury is a sin. Student loans are usury at these rates.

You can explain it with science, but the Markhov models would sugggest signal or a rigged probability, not random chance or noise.

It's a representation of greed, lies, and relative morality. Santa Claus is antithetical to the Bible.

Giving and getting gifts from family is aligned with the Bible. But when children receive gifts from their parents for Christmas, they didn't deserve them. Just like we don't deserve God's grace. God set aside our shortcomings to bring us into the family to share in his gifts. We did nothing to deserve them. But he also wants us to share his gifts with others who don't know him well.

Santa gives gifts to good boys and girls, which means that if you got gifts you were not bad. But that's impossible because all kids misbehave. And to compare some behavior to others is known as relative morality.

Lastly, Santa is a lie, so it harms your relationship with your kids when they find out you have been deceiving them. It's very hypocritical to tell your kids not to lie, but then you lie to their faces about something so trivial as a known fake character.

And it also clamors for time and space on Christmas when Christmas is for God alone.

The Devil knows every page of every Bible, so clearly that alone doesn't save you.

One day when you spin your wheels on rock bottom, that's when it makes the most sense.

At least read the Bible. Idgaf if someone doesn't go to church because the Bible is the primary way God speaks to us.

Well before you, a bunch of European pagans preached to children that they should be good for Santa's sake, saying that God is good, but Santa gives you presents! And if your parents aren't rich, you get nothing anyway, so there's no reason to be good. And if you are rich, and you see a kid with no presents, it's because God hates them and only loves you.

It's like someone made a really lazy anagram for Satan. IMO, I still don't get why any Christians want anything to do with Santa. He's close enough to morality that it's appealing, but he's so far away from God in every important aspect. He's the posterboy for legit Satanism.
