He's as occasionally useful as Kanye and Elon Musk, but somehow he gets way more hate. They're all just kinda 'meh.'

Maybe. I just figure he needed a break and also a chance to 'rehabilitate' his image. He left to the tune of GEOTUS labeling him "Sloppy Steve." Great for killing the puppet master narrative, but not great for Bannon doing anything meaningful for a few months.

I sometimes wonder if the official story is a cover for a strategic exit. Hear me out: if you look up the SNL sketches before Bannon left, they were trying to frame him as the brains of the operation with GEOTUS as his puppet (like they did to Cheney and Dubya). I think GEOTUS and Bannon saw the writing on the wall and determined Bannon could do more for the administration from the outside.

If Jack is ever made to do a perp walk, I'm gonna party like it's 1999.

Phew... Thank goodness. I almost thought I was gonna have to watch a has-been comedian who forgot how to be funny decades ago. Different Chris Rock, folks... You're safe...

I upvoted you, but I have to admit I giggled at "shit" being softened to "smack" only to be followed up with "go fuck yourselves." Cheers~

He can take over TV airwaves and/or send emergency cell phone messages if needed. There is no way to stop what's coming.

Early on, I didn't like the guy, but I am willing to admit I was wrong about him. One day I was in the shower, and Youtube switched from a vid that ended to auto-play a Steve Bannon interview. I had no idea it was him, but the whole time I was thinking, "Who is this guy? He really knows his shit. He's referencing some details that I have only recently come to know via professional expertise highly specific to my field, and he's doing it perfectly. Who is this guy?" I've never thought about him the same since then. At this point, I'm definitely a fan. He's also one of the smartest damn guys in the game. His academic background, early careers, etc. put him neck and neck with even the Ted Cruzes of the right.

No, nobody believes that, but whether or not anything of substance (criminal dealings via his family or election fraud) can be linked to him will be interesting to find out. I think the best we can probably hope for is consequences for Hunter and/or Jim. I doubt any of it can be linked to Joe beyond a shadow of a doubt. Here's hoping though...

Dems shouldn't assume that Green Party votes are disenfranchised Dems whose votes rightfully belong to Dems and the GOP shouldn't do this to Libertarians either. If you want those votes, woo the voters. GEOTUS did effectively appeal to libertarians. That's why the pathetic current iteration Libertarian Party (that fail to deliver on their alleged ideology) only got about a third of the votes they received in 2016. As a personal anecdote: I don't know any libertarians that did not vote for GEOTUS this time around.

Jeez... that would be illegal. We better investigate everything to find out what happened.

Agreed. The way he started this presentation hardly filled me with confidence. To the contrary... I have less of it now. Maybe there is a strategy involved. Perhaps he is trying to persuade people who are less aware of various types of fraud that were used.

Can partially confirm. I'm out in East Asia at the moment and it suddenly stopped working.
