To be in the top 1% worldwide your income needs to only be around $30K/year. Basically the proposed $15/hr min wage will put you there.

The question for all the lefties then becomes, do you support paying 90% of your income until world poverty is eradicated, or are you only into socialism when you think its other peoples money being confiscated and given to you? Its amazing how peoples world view 180's when the flow of cash starts to come from them.

the DNC will have no choice but to actually hail mary pass a new presidential candidate

Its way too late for that. Its either Biden or nothing for the DNC at this point. Swapping candidates is impossible this late in the game.

CNN ran a large highlight all day yesterday about what funny things SNL had to day about Biden, but there was nothing about this. This story obviously runs way too counter-narrative to get approved for promotion.

How does that work in your mind? Its like they earned immunity or covid saw them being good so it got bored and moved on? Thats not how it works. If covid is still a thing, any relaxing of the rules would immediately lead to new outbreaks and a resurgence of cases. People seem to want to attach all sorts of moral motivations to this virus like it only strikes the wrong and wicked or some shit. If being at the pub 4 months ago was really dangerous, then its still dangerous today. Or maybe it was never dangerous.

What the fuck happened

They almost went out of business. Neutral and balanced doesn't pay the bills these days. People want their feelings validated, not challenged.

Mine includes Asians in "people of color". That one surprised me. Its literally anyone but a white guy in all their policies from hiring/promoting to protected classes when doing disciplinary actions or layoffs. The bizarre thing is how everyone accepts it, like this is all perfectly reasonable and good.

When you talk to a divorce lawyer, they explain to you your options, the chance of success, and how much its going to cost. If any of it becomes contested and you end up litigating, you're starting off at $10K.

The reason so many settle outside of court is because dads know they are going to lose anyways and they don't have 10s of thousands of dollars to fight the system.
